We were lucky to find this property so quickly after our decision to "go south" to avoid our relentless rainy summer. The grounds of this condo location are really noteworthy. The royal palms along the entrance and around the pool instantly and repeatedly deliver a sense of class. The condo itself was very clean, nicely furnished and decorated nicely. The pool and hot tub were very well maintained and were less than 100 ft from our sliding door. Being a 5 minute drive to St. Pete's Beach and the many restaurants along Gulf Blvd, it was really a great spot. We drove around the Tampa area for 10 days and constantly confirmed how central we were to all destinations in the Florida west-central costal region. Thanks to Jeff and Tara, the condo owners, for spoiling us with great surroundings, good advice and quick and useful communication. The sooner we get back there, the better.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+.

We enjoyed our stay at Jeff and Tanya's condo. They were professional, friendly and accommodating, and their condo was extremely clean. Fort DeSoto beach was so amazing that we didn't even step on St. Pete Beach. (Go to the North Beach and walk to the end of the peninsula - fabulous views!) We appreciated the beach toys, and the full sized washer and dryer were really handy after long days at the beach. Be sure to eat at Billy's on Tierre Verde. Our kids (ages 11 and 7) also enjoyed Larry's Ice Cream on St. Pete Beach and the the Pirate Ship at St. John's Pass.
Recommended for:Families with young children, age 55+.

Vista Verde West is a beautiful community. The condo and the grounds are well-maintained. The location is ideal with easy access to beaches, restaurants, and shopping, and close to interstates and roads which will get you to many attractions. The listing is very accurate and Jeff and Tana are great and will do whatever they can to meet your needs and answer your questions. The pictures clearly show what the condo looks like. Vista Verde is very quiet and laid back. The pool and hot tub are just a few steps from the back patio. The condo contains just about everything you might need to feel right at home. We recommend this condo to anyone seeking a relaxing vacation or a base from which to embark on the many adventures Florida has to offer. We were here for 2 months and thoroughly enjoyed our vacation.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+.
