Marie and Luc moved out of their house and we moved in and made ourselves at home and stayed for two weeks. The house is very comfortable and everything that we needed was available.Marie very helpful for local knowledge. The pool and tennis court were used every day and also the enormous terrace for all our meals and relaxing. La Gavotte has no restuarant but that was not a worry because we ate at home most of the time but a car is necessary for shopping or eating out.We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this private estate for a family holiday.Did you find this review helpful? This house is just beautiful, with wonderful high ceilings and decor. We loved all the conveniences and the swimming pool; we felt so free and relaxed after our week there! The location let us explore Aix, Marseille, Provence, and the French coast easily. The hostess was exceptionally responsive to all our questions, and a generally lovely person. Highly recommended, with heartfelt gratitude.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

Marie, Just a quick note to thank you for letting us use your beautiful home! We just had a ball and all fell madly in love with Provence. I'm duplicating your kitchen and your terrace in New York. I hope that our paths cross again. Best - LindaDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Mariej-Francoise and Luc: we loved every minute of our stay in your spectacular house. After a day of visiting markets and historic sites in Aix, the Luberon, and Avignon, it was to wonderful to come home to all the comforts we are used to. Our kids loved the swimming pool and playing tennis and we all enjoyed meals on the terrace and strolls on the spectacular grounds. Can't wait to visit againDid you find this review helpful?
