Wow, that was our first impression. The house was fabulous, the views and location were superb. Tonia had thought of just about everything to make her guest's stay just perfect. We're surprised that there were were no window coverings throughout but soon appreciated that there were no neighbors within view but bountiful nature sights and sounds to drink in from every window. Saw plenty of wildlife (deer, ducks, turkey etc) daily on the meadow leading down to the river, even caught a couple of fish in the river on our first day. The house was extremely spacious allowing everyone to find a nook to spend time alone or for family gatherings and meals together. Our 6 year old grandson was in hog heaven, with all of the games (indoor and out) and the fire pit which was a nightly ritual with the s'mores or hotdogs and the hot tub was a big hit with everyone. Glacier National Park was a short 30 mins drive and Whitefish or Kalispell nearby. Thank you Tonia, our family had a superb vacation, would highly recommend this vacation home as a luxury home for family or friend gatherings. Did I say the kitchen was just a gourmet delight for multiple cooks!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Our stay was perfect in every way.... the house is made for get togethers... kids space, adult space... kitchen is outstanding to prepare and cook food and to entertain... and Tonia is so responsive, we had a minor issue with the media room, and she had it fixed within one hour.. if you are looking for a special place to get friends and family together... this is it.Recommended for: Families with young children, adventure seekers, families with teenagers.

My husband and I along with our friends stayed here in January. This is by far the nicest vacation home we have ever rented. As nice as the pictures on here are it is even more incredible in person. We were all speechless walking in. There were fresh flowers in almost every room which was a nice touch. A welcome letter with wine and champagne were waiting. The house and the property are immaculate! We can't wait to rent here again. Tonia - thank you for putting up with my numerous texts and phone calls. The jam is delicious!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

There is no room for any disappointment in a home so well appointed. Fabulous!!! What an idyllic setting! The beautiful, stately Evergreens, distinctive wrought iron gate and charming rail fence welcome guests to the front of your lovely home while the gurgling, lazy river, weeping willows and early morning deer family sightings, plus an open fire pit invite guests to linger indefinitely in the back yard. No detail has been overlooked from a fully supplied kitchen to cleaning supplies to an abundance of soaps, tissues & towels for the bathrooms. The home is gorgeous, the furnishings top grade but the windows are what make it incredible! Leaving is going to be hard. We have had one of the best vacations ever and renting this house was a large part of what made it so enjoyable! I rose early this morning to view the palette of pinks & oranges over the blues of the mountains as the sun made its way up. There were 2 mothers with their fawns playing in the front yard. Later my husband spotted a ring neck pheasant out back & now all the guys have gone to fish the river...Just a sample of the activities we have delighted in during our stay. Some people who hadn't played ping pong in a long, long time had great fun using your game room, and the DVDs we had never looked so good as they did in your theatre room. One of the guys wading in the river looking for trout called it "almost Heaven." He caught 9 Rainbow Trout and 10 other! The flowers inside & out enhanced the loveliness. Thank you for reponding to our every need. One couple is snoozing in the hammock while I write this! Thank you Tonia!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

This quaint little house was just enough space for the seven of us. Although it was a little tight we managed to squeeze in. Honestly, this blew away our expectations! From beers by the fire, gourmet meals and epic ping pong battles this was the perfect way to spend my 30th b-day! Some of the best 4 days of my life! Thanks for everything! We were treated like gold from the moment we arrived. See you next year!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Thanks for a wonderful week at "A River Runs Through It." The house is roomy, comfortable, and well-appointed. All of the children enjoyed having an opportunity to play ping pong, pool, and basketball. Our's is a largely military family so we are spread out across the country. That makes the occasions when we can all get together very special! It was great to spend our time together in such a beautiful, peaceful place. A special thanks to you for being so gracious in accommodatig our needs!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1
