Located right in the city centre, this apartment is an ideal choice for a city break in Edinburgh. Situated on the top floor of the building, (third floor), it has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, lounge with dining table, fully equipped kitchen and also a lovely little study with a magnificent view of Edinburgh Castle. Furnished beautifully throughout, it is a calm and relaxing home from home, right in the middle of the city.

The twin bedroom is at the front of the apartment and has a bathroom (with bath and shower) just beside it. The double bedroom has a bathroom (with shower only) next to it also.

With a wonderful castle view, the study is a perfect place in which to relax or write some postcards.

There is a three night minimum stay.

I booked this apartment for four group leaders (high school teachers) from Switzerland. Communication was easy and everything went as planned. My clients were extremely happy with the apartment. It's hard to get more central than this! On arrival, we had a couple of questions, called the management company contact and were helped out immediately. Many thanks! David

I often rent flats when I travel, preferring them to hotels. My experiences have generally been good; this flat exceeded expectations. It is every bit as lovely as the photos, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. In addition, the proximity to shopping, site-seeing and transportation cannot be beat (there is a taxi queue opposite the front door and the train station is only blocks away). Susan is also a pleasure to deal with and attentive to her guests. As lovely as Edinburgh is, my visit was definitely enhanced by these wonderful accommodations.

Where do I start. This was the perfect apartment for our Edinburgh visit. It was a great space for my family to spread out and enjoy some down time after having a fun filled day in the city. All of the sites are within walking distance and the shopping nearby was wonderful! Susan made the whole process easy and even had dinner suggestions for us! We will be back. Dena

This was my second visit to this building - the last time I stayed in one of the other apartments but I've found out all three are owned by the same people and the other two are listed on VRBO. I was celebrating with my daughter, her 40th Birthday and I can honestly say that this visit to Edinburgh was as good as the last time. This time we had the top apartment (flat 3) even though there was a few more stairs, it was well worth it for the splendid view from the study window of Edinburgh Castle. There are two large bedrooms with plenty of wardrobe and drawer space, comfortable beds and very good quality bed linen. There's two bathrooms, which is very convenient when there are four ladies getting ready, plenty of nice white soft towels. A good size T.V. in the lounge, which is a cosy room to relax in after a busy day sight seeing, the other bonus of this apartment is there's a study. The kitchen is modern and well equipped. The whole apartment is decorated to a very high standard and is spotlessly clean. It's a great location for all the main attractions, Princess Street is a couple of steps away, and only a short walk to the Edinburgh Castle, also near by, you can catch the bus that goes to the Royal Yacht Britannia. The owner, Susan, was very helpful and made the last minute booking really easy. She answered all our queries really quickly and suggested some great restaurants for us to try. all in all was a pleasure to deal with. We are all looking forward to returning in the future.

Sorry to be slow in writing this review, but I felt a need to get this on since I depend so heavily on all reviews when I book through this site. We had a wonderful time at this condo, it was everything as described. Roomy, comfortable, extremely clean and updated, just the right size for my husband and two daughters. The proximity to everything was wonderful, we walked everywhere. Excellent restaurants right below us. Parking is somewhat of a challenge but was able to find overnight parking about a block away. The owner was fabulous and great to work with. Would highly recommend it.

The spacious apartment was the ideal place for us to stay while visiting Edinburgh. Spotless and comfy, stocked with everything we needed, it was an excellent and extremely convenient landing spot. We'll definitely stay here again!

We researched several different VRBO listings prior to our UK trip, and my concern was always that the pictures/reviews would not meet up to the actual accommodations. This apartment far exceeded our expectations. It was very clean and seemed to be newly renovated. It is in an amazing location - only about a ten minute walk from the train station and about the same to the castle, Royal Mile, and shopping. Additionally, there are several restaurants on the same street that the apartment is located. The owners went out of their way to make sure our experience was enjoyable - from the booking to the actual stay. They were a pleasure to work with! For the price and the quality of the accommodations, I do not believe you can get a better value. I would recommend this to anyone traveling to Edinburgh.

My friends and I stayed in this apartment in April 2011. The apartment was in the perfect location in the heart of Edinburgh, just a few minutes walk, literally, to the Royal Mile and the castle. It was steps from shopping and pubs as well. The apartment was lovely! It was clean, well cared for and stocked with everything you could need. This was my first experience using VRBO and I was not disappointed. The city of Edinburgh was beautiful and when I return there I will once again stay at this listing. The owners were pleasant and helpful. I have only wonderful things to say! Thank you for such an excellent experience!
