  You are steps away from South Congress yet you are on a very quiet street with an oasis in the backyard. This is a beautifully appointed house with everything you could possibly need for your vacation. Every day during our stay topped 100 degrees but with the shaded backyard and pool you'd hardly know it. The view of the area from the roof deck is fantastic. Barton Springs is only a 5 minute drive as well. Jo's Coffee, Amy's Ice Cream, Hopdoddy, Homeslice and the Continental Club along with the shops along South Congress are literally around the corner. HEB is only a mile away for groceries and I'd highly recommend Izzo's Taco Trailer on S. 1st. I can't say enough about the house. The owner was easy to communicate with and quickly replied to any and all questions and I'm looking forward to our next visit!

  The home is in absolutely pristine shape. Every amenity is thought of and the location is incredible. If you're looking for a great spot in the heart of Austin, but away from rowdy sixth street, this is the spot. The pool is a touch on the smallish side, but it's perfect for cooling off in the Texas heat. Your are right next to some of the best restaurants in Austin (Enotecha, Vespaio, The Woodland, Homeslice, Hopdoddy, etc...) The views are amazing as well. Highly recommended.

  We arrived from Australia not knowing much about the Austin area, and were so pleased to find ourselves in this beautiful house. It has everything you could need and it is in such a great location. Each day we would find something great to do just around the corner. Our 2 children loved the pool and the rooftop deck. We would recommend this house to anyone.

  Great owner at this property. We had a great time as the house was a perfect location in south congress. We enjoyed the pool and the rooftop decks. Very nice house on the inside as well. . . We'll be back next time we're in Austin.

  This house is so fantastic I don't even know where to start. When you first walk in, you notice a spacious, clean and comfortable home. The den is quite cozy for movie watching (that couch is a dream), the kitchen is great for cooking, and there is a large table that seats 8 easily for meals. The cabana is a perfect spot for afternoon cocktails (as is the screened in porch), and lounging by the pool is a great option too. The pool is heated by the way! The driveway fits 4 cars and there is a parking pass for the street as well. There is no need to drive anywhere once you get here...there is plenty to do right down the street. We ate great food every day at the restaurants on South Congress, had Jo's coffee every morning and shopped all weekend. The absolute best things about this house? The rooftop patio (incredible views of Austin), the beds (SO comfortable), and the very friendly and accommodating owner Kathy. I am so glad we decided against a hotel. I will absolutely stay here again, no question about it. Thanks Kathy for everything!

  The best thing about this house is its location. We stayed here for a downtown event, and walked to downtown and back each and every day. It really is just a pleasant 10-15 minutes from downtown, right over a scenic bridge. If you bike at all, downtown is no more than 5 minutes away and biking in downtown Austin safer than in most major cities. Moreover, at all hours of the day and night, we felt completely safe and secure walking. The house is located just one street away from South Congress which has many really great restaurants, a great coffee shop, and shopping. The neighborhood where the house is located is super quiet for being so close to downtown. Although the location is excellent, let it not overshadow the fact that this is an amazing house. It is very spacious. The master bedroom and bathroom are a real treat and they have all the modern conveniences. The house easily accommodated our group of 6 people. It was in great physical condition and was clean from top to bottom. The pool, the screened porch, the gas grill, the rooftop deck (wow, what a view), and the great parking were all unexpected bonuses. We really apprecaited that the house was stocked with many amenities including dishes, laundry and dish detergent, soap, shampoo, suntan lotion, coffee, tea and other niceties that we didn't necessarily expect. There were even two bottles of wine in the refrigerator waiting for us upon arrival! Without a doubt, we'll be looking to stay here again in the future.

  If you looking for a great location, beautiful,comfortable and well equipped home, great ammenities, ie swimming pool and beautiful views from rooftop veranda...this is the place. We had a great holiday and will definetly be returning soon. Kathy was absolutely wonderful and helpful with all our questions and needs....Enthusiastically rnecommend her beautiful home.

  My family and I spent President's week at this fabulous home and had the best time! The location is perfect, right behind South Congress St. within walking distance to great shops, restaurants and parks, You can even walk to Downtown. The views from the house are awesome. The rooms are very large and the pool/spa was a special treat. If you plan on staying in Austin your whole vacation, you don't even need to rent a car - walk to most things and taxis are very reasonable. Kathy was the perfect host, available for any need. I hope to be back there sometime soon...
