The ocean is a turquise blue and the white sandy beaches are kid-friendly (no waves) due to the reef 200 meters off shore. The main square/fishing pier is just 4 blocks, a pleasant walk (or ride bikes provided with rental) to restaurants, shopping, markets and famous snorkeling/scuba diving tours to the 2nd largest reef in the world. Puerto Morelos is truely a diamond in the rough, the last of small mexican fishing villages in the Cancun-Playa Del Carmen resort area. Really enjoyed our few days of PEACE & QUIET at this lovely Condo run by a lovely couple. The Place is SPECTACULAR! Lotsa room, immaculate & very New! Only a block to a beautiful beach and only a few blocks from shops & restaurants. Puerto Morelos is a real "Sleeper" totally the UN-CANCUN! If yu're looking to recharge your Batteries ......This IS the Place!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

My family spent the most amazing Christmas in this quaint, fun, tucked away small fishing village. We could go to Cancun for the party, Playa del Carmen for some shopping, or just hang out in Puerto Morelos for some good eats and a beautiful relaxing beach. We found this home for rent (only about a 10 minute walk to the center of town and the beach just a few steps away...literally...about 20 steps) with every amenity you thought of and everything you didn't! The owners go out of their way to make sure you have a comfortable stay and they are filled with information and insights to help you get around. From restaurants, to zip lining, they have the answer. And if they don't...they will find it for you:) Honestly, in all my travels these owners are AMAZING!!! I won't stay anywhere else and we will be back soon!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Love this little town because it's centrally located between cancun and playa del carmen. Quaint fishing villiage with a town square within walking distance. The beach is just a few steps away and super clean and calm shoreline. My husband Pedro and I stayed with you for a week in May and we had the time of our lives. The house had every amenity and then some, The beach is beautiful and the town so quaint and laid back. Your restaurant recommendations especially La Playita for fish and David lau's for Thai were the best so delicious and cheap to boot. You were so warm and helpful with all our needs. We had a great time. The whole family was there. We held our family reunion, mom/dad , kids and grand kids. The villa was beautiful with plenty of room for all 11 of us. The beaches were just steps from villa and it was like paradise. The owner were the best. They provided all the beach stuff, bikes for around town, and lots of insight on things to do and the places to eat. Our next reunion is in 5 years, we'll be back, next time for 2 weeks, hopefully 3...Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We had a great time at Puerto Morelos. Everything exceeded our expectations by far. The house was perfect for us and we appreciate everything you did to make our stay most enjoyable. You went out of your way to get us the Pollo Casada that was so delicious. Also, using your printer and scanner was immensely useful to meet my other obligations. We did not use the cell phone but that provided us an additional level of comfort. Your advice on going on the local Kin-Ha Ecotour rather than to Xplore also turned out to be wonderful. Above all, your genuine interest in making our dreams come true is what made the difference for us.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
