  We found this property to be appointed perfectly to welcome guests and make the stay one to remember. the decor is both " beachy" and "cozy." The amenities were most complete and really left nothing out to ensure rest and relaxation. The property was very clean and well maintained. The rental agency was very cordial and certainly made us feel right at home. I would definitely highly recommend this property to friends.

  We just returned from a week in St Simons staying in the Oleander Cottage, which isn't really a cottage, but a large, comfortable three-level house. We loved the set up, with the master on the top level (where my wife and I stayed) and three bedrooms on the bottom level, where we accommodated three college-age kids and my elderly mother. The elevator made moving luggage and groceries very easy and was a big help for my mother. The master suite was very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was open and well-appointed. The living areas were very comfortable and the outdoor deck was nice and had a decent view. We were a short walking distance from the pool and beach. We did get a lot of rain last week, but were able to make the best of it thanks to the comfortable accommodations. I would highly recommend for a group of up to 8 people.

  Oleander Cottage at Coast Cottages is a hidden gem on the Georgia coast in the quaint beach community of St. Simons Island. Oleander is a beautifully decorated family cottage that easily handled our group of 10 including 4 kids. The setup of the house is amazing with a private master bedroom and bath on the top floor, a living area with kitchen, dining room and 2 decks on the 2nd floor and 3 bedrooms with baths plus a small living room on the first floor. We were all able to spread out and utilize the entire house without ever feeling crowded. The deck on the roof with views of the ocean was a special treat. We loved the location. Just steps to the two pools right on the property and a private boardwalk to the best part of the beach. We were able to park our cars and just enjoy our vacation. The cottage is within walking distance to some great restaurants including Crab Daddies which was our personal favorite. We even snuck into the bar at the King and Prince for a few libations. We had a great time with our families and we would recommend Oleander Cottage to anyone looking to upgrade their vacation experience. You will love the time you spend here.

  The location was perfect. Easy walk from the cottage to the two swimming pools and the miles of beach, accessible at high and low tide. The 2 1/2 year olds with us loved it. There's no kiddie pool, but the nearby Neptune water park was perfect for the little ones. The house has everything you could ask for. Plenty of room, large, well stocked kitchen, beach chairs, coolers, beach towels, large gas grill. huge deck, Nintendo Wii, WiFi, small rooftop balcony. Perfect spot for a beach trip to St. Simons! Thanks!

  Owner response: IMPORTANT ST. SIMONS ISLAND BEACH TIP: Most people coming to St. Simons Island for the fist time don't realize there is an "anytime" stretch of beach to the north and a "disappearing" stretch of beach to the south. You will want to vacation on the "anytime" beach to the north, because the beach south of Arnold Road disappears at mid to high tide. So you have to time your beach walks on the south beach since there are two high tides and two low tides every 24 hours. However, you can ALWAYS walk the beach north of Arnold Road, and that's where Oleander Cottage and the entire Coast Cottages neighborhood is located. There's plenty of beach here at high tide, and at low tide, you can walk straight out to sea for 1/2 mile because a huge sandbar is uncovered ... it's glorious!

  My family and I have vacationed on St. Simons for 9 years. We have stayed in three different Coast Cottages and this is by far the most pleasant and relaxing. The pictures on the website capture the beauty of this property. Access to the beach and pool are very convenient, especially for children. Our favorite restaurants this year were: Crabdaddies, Crab Shack, Iguana and Catch 228.

  Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers.

  Owner response: Oleander is on of the best equipped properties in Coast Cottages ... it 's a real family pleaser! As for restaurants, there is no shortage of great ones on St. Simons Island ... all within 10 minutes.

  We had a wonderful time. We have stayed at two other cottages in this complex but definitely enjoyed this one the most. The decor was very nice. The rooms were large and comfortable. We had 6 adults and 6 children and there was plenty of room for everyone. Easy walk to the beach, beautiful views. I highly recommended this cottage. (The elevator is very handy too for luggage, groceries, etc.)

  Owner response: One of the great features of Oleander Cottage is the extra den area on the bedroom level complete with flat screen TV, DVD and Wii console. This gives the young ones their own place to gather for fun and games.

50% deposit, balance due 14 days before arrival

Additional Fees and Taxes:

Rates subject to 5% local hotel tax and 6% state tax

$175.00 cleaning fee (waived for weekly and monthly rentals)
