  Cutest house on the block! Easy and quick walk to the beach. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay during our girls trip! Love love love it!

  I don't usually write reviews, but this time I had to make an exception. What a great place! The house is beautifully appointed and maintained with care. The pantry and kitchen were amazingly well-stocked and equipped. We could have cooked anything. The small garden out front was a pleasure to behold each morning, and added even a little more privacy. Away from the traffic but less than 5 minutes walk from the beach, this was one of the quietest beach homes we have rented. A most gracious owner who is so accessible ensured our enjoyment. We will be back!

  Thanks you for a great stay! The house is absolutely lovely! The decor is so warm and inviting we just loved it! We had such a relaxing vacation here. You have thought of everything here, we needed for nothing! I thought for sure we would go to Walmart for things that we forgot, but no need, because you had it here! The kids loved the third floor deck and had a blast! We will be sure to look you up next year. Also thanks for opening up the house to my little Yorkie, Bella.

  Such a beautiful place you have! My family and I had such a wonderful time staying at your cottage. The girls loved the second and third floor. They spend quite time reading on the third floor deck! I will always cherish the memories of my 50th birthday here! Perfect spot-near the Ocean and close to everything! We couldn't have chosen a better place! Thanks for everyting!

  My family and I would like to Thank You for this outstanding rental! We had a spectacular week! We had my Mom, StepFather & Brother out with us as well. The house is gorgeous! We spent a great deal of time at the beach and the pool. Our dogs enjoyed relaxing on the beautiful screened in porch. I grew up in the Panhandle. I used to come out to the beaches here in Destin on a regular basic. It was great to have such a prefect home to bring my family to for their first Destin Beach experience?

  We so, so loved Sand Dollar! It was just perfect! Such a quiet street and secluded grounds AND half a block to the pool! The beaches were pristine & we went every day we were here. Our kids are 7 & 11, & they had the upstairs bedroom. They loved it up there- we hardly saw them. Our little Sugar enjoyed your grounds as well. I just noticed the grapes yesterday. My Mother-in-law was very comfy in the extra room. Your special little touches indicate how much you care about this place, and it was a privilege to stay here. We'll be back...soon...

  We truly enjoyed our time here at Sand Dollar. It was quite a peaceful stay here. I enjoyed watching the lizards in the trees. They caught my attention the first day I was here. We don't have any like these in Texas. I was also impressed with the beach- never have seen such white sand and pretty water. Truly a joy! Thanks for everything

  We had a great time at Sand Dollar! Thanks so much for your wonderful hospitality. The house is just adorable, full of everything we needed and was prefect for our "Spring Break" crowd. The teen girls loved their private "suite" upstairs and own porch. We loved Clipper Cove and its location, so convenient to everything, especially the Beach! Thanks again for everything.

  I stayed at the Sand Dollar Cottage for a week with my fiance, our two kids, a friend of the family, my mother, brother and stepfather. Sounds like a lot of people, I know... We fit without issue. This place is so much more than you can imagine. It was the perfect vacation. I grew up in the area and brought my new family down for vacation and I can think of no better way to introduce them to my home than in the Sand Dollar.We went to the beach every day and the pool every evening. We walked to beautiful town centers and delicious restaurants. It was like rediscovering my home. I never knew it could be so wonderful! Oh, and the Sand Dollar is pet friendly, so my two beautiful Boxers got to enjoy the trip as well... Bliss.

“SandDollar” VRBO.com/337268 4485 Clipper Cove, Destin, FL 32541 RENTAL POLICIES AND RENTAL AGREEMENT Denise Owens, Manager 4492 Clipper Cove, Destin, FL 32541 850-685-4603 Email: beachdetails@yahoo.com The renter(s) understands that the “SandDollar” property is to be used as a vacation residence ONLY, and for the exclusive use of the registered tenants ONLY. 1.ADVANCE DEPOSIT- of 50% is required and must be received within SEVEN (7) days of initial reservation. If the advance deposit is not received within seven (7) days of booking, your reservation is NOT confirmed. Full payment is due at least thirty (30) days prior to arrival. A REFUNDABLE Security Deposit of $500 is also due thirty (30) days prior to arrival. Reservations made within (30) days of arrival require payment in full. The Security Deposit will be reimbursed within fourteen (14) days following departure, PROVIDED there is no damage or theft to the rental property, and all policies and conditions of rental are followed. If repairs are required as a result of your stay, beyond normal wear and tear, your Security Deposit will be forfeited and/or your credit card will be charged for the required amount. If a Security Deposit is made in lieu of payment by credit card, it is further agreed that tenant's liability shall not be limited to the loss of the security deposit in the event damages for which the tenant and/or its assigns are responsible for and which exceed the dollar amount of the security deposit. 2. PETS ARE ALLOWED with prior approval. A NON-Refundable $100.00 pet fee is charged for EACH pet that is approved. There is an extra pet cleaning fee if evidence of excessive pet hair is found in the home. All pets must be on a hand held leash at all times when not in fenced yard provided by rental. 3.SMOKING Prohibited Inside Unit!. Your Security Deposit will be forfeited and you will incur an additional charge for carpet cleaning and deodorizing if any evidence of smoking is found inside our rental home. Smoking is allowed outside, but please dispose of butts and other smoking materials properly. If cigarette butts are not disposed of properly and butts are found on the premises, a CLEAN FEE of $25.00 will be charged and the butts will be mailed back to tenants to validate cleaning fees. This Includes POOL Area. 4.LIABILITY-It is expressly understood and agreed that the owner/manager of said premises, shall not be liable for any damages and or injury to tenant, tenant's guest or his/her family or to his/her family's, or guest property from whatever cause arising from occupancy of said premises by tenant and his/her family or common areas of the town house development or deeded beach areas. It is further understood and agreed that owner/manager shall not be responsible for any personal property left by tenant in said premises. In the event property of tenant is left on premises, tenant may request owner/manager to mail or ship property back to tenant at tenant's sole expense. 5.RENTAL PAYMENT-is due in full, in advance, thirty(30) days prior to arrival. Payable preferably by e-check, which is free of charges, or credit card, Visa/MasterCard/Discover. If paid by check, and check is returned NSF, a return check fee of $30.00 will be charged. 6.NO SUB-LEASING permitted. Absolutely no exceptions for any reason. 7.CANCELLATION OF RESERVATION- must be made thirty (30) days or more prior to arrival. A cancellation fee equal to 10% of the total rent will be charged on all canceled reservations if the unit cannot be re-rented for those dates. Late cancellation with less than thirty days notice will result in a forfeiture of the full advance deposit (1/3) if the unit cannot be re-rented for those dates. Written notice is required for all cancellations. (long-term, advance monthly rentals must give ninety (90) days notice of cancellation prior to arrival) Cancellation and early departure due to inclement weather does not warrant any refund of rent or deposit unless an evacuation order for this address has been issued by the National Weather Service or the County of Okaloosa or the City of Destin. 8.MAXIMUM NUMBER of GUEST at SandDollar is ten (10) people unless otherwise agreed upon in advance. Violation of this policy will automatically result in forfeiture of full rental payment and security deposit. A $100 per person fee plus applicable taxes will be charged on all guest over the maximum. Reservations made under false pretenses will result in forfeiture of full rental payment and security deposit. NO EXCEPTIONS! 9.Family rentals ONLY! SandDollar will not be rented to vacationing students or young adults (under 25) unaccompanied by a responsible parent or guardian. A parent must be staying in the home at all times. Our rental home is and will be monitored for violation of this policy. All violators will be evicted and all rental payments and security deposits will be forfeited. This policy includes reservations made by parents that do not check-in, and/or leave overnight during the length of the stay. EXCEPTIONS MUST REQUIRE PRIOR APPROVAL! IF THE EXCEPTION HAS BEEN GRANTED THE FOLLOWING APPLIES. SandDollar reserves the right to rent to vacationing students or young adults (under 25) on a case by case basis. Students or young adults allowed to rent should take additional precautions to ensure they treat the property and furnishings in a responsible manner. Students or young adults renting this property consent to allow the Manager or a representative of the Owner/manager to inspect the premises during the stay if the appearance of irresponsible behavior is detected. SandDollar does retain a property management company that keeps an eye on all units on a daily basis. If they report anything suspicious, the owner/manager/representative will be notified immediately. Any violations or irresponsible behavior that causes property damage will constitute eviction without reimbursement and forfeiture of the security deposit. 10.CHECK-IN time is after 3:00 P. M. CST on the check in date. NO EXCEPTIONS without prior approval 11.CHECK-OUT time is 9:00 A.M. CST (SHARP) Anyone staying past 9:00 A.M. on departure date will be charged for a extra day plus an additional $100.00 delayed cleaning fee. NO EXCEPTIONS without prior approval! 12.HOUSEKEEPING- SandDollar will be cleaned prior to your arrival and after your departure, and the cost is included in your rental payment. You will be responsible for the cleaning during your stay and for leaving the home in good condition at checkout. Please remember that you are staying in a “privately owned home.” Please treat it as you would want someone to treat you home. If accommodation are left damaged or unusually messy (such as unwashed dishes, garbage left in the house or stains on the furniture or carpet), your security deposit will be forfeited and/or an additional cleaning charge will be charged to your credit card. Please note, if the BBQ is used and not cleaned you will be charges a $15.00 Cleaning Fee. This is the extra fee we are charged by our cleaning service. 13.GOOD Neighbor Policy- SandDollar is located in a mix-use neighborhood that includes both short-term and year-round residents. Please be considerate of the neighbors with noise and activities. We want you to enjoy your stay at SandDollar, but not at the expense of the neighbors. Guests are asked to conform to all rules and regulations on the property. Violators are subject to eviction with loss of rental payment and security deposit. 14.KEYS- When final rental payment is received, you will receive instructions for receiving keys (code to key box at front porch and Door code) 15.TELEPHONE- There is NOT a land line in Rental unit. Please bring your cell phone. 16.INTERNET- Wireless INTERNET service is provided at SandDollar. You will be provided with the wireless access code. A computer IS NOT provided. 17.COMMUNITY POOL- the Community Pool is to be used by registered guest only, and for the quite enjoyment of other guest! As a condition of rental, you and your guest are required to observe ALL “Pool Rules”. If we are notified that you or your guest are creating a nuisance in the Pool or other Common Areas, you will be asked to vacate the premise with no refund for rents paid. This is very serious, so please be certain all of your guest understand these rules. 18.LINENS/TOWELS/SUPPLIES-Although linens are furnished, please bring your own beach towels and beach blankets as linens are not to be removed from the home. Any lost or damaged linens will be deducted from your deposit. Guest will need to provide their own paper items and cleaning supplies. An initial set up of trash liners and toilet paper is provided. Extra items needed are the responsibility of the guest. 19.REPAIRS- Renter agree to report promptly to Denise Owens 850-685-4603 beachdetails@yahoo.com any mechanical, electrical, plumbing or other problems on the premises. 20.TRASH- Days are Tuesday and Friday mornings. Please take can to curb Monday and Thursday night. Return the can from the street after trash is collected. Please remove all trash prior to departure. 21.PARKING-Is Limited-Maximum (3) vehicles must be parked in the driveway of the dwelling and clear of sidewalks. No parking of campers, trailers, boats, RV's, Motorcycles, etc allowed. INDEMNIFICATION Owner nor Management can be held responsible for any accident, loss, damage or injury, regardless of fault suffered by any renter, member of their party or guest which the renter has allowed access to the property regardless if said loss is a result directly or indirectly from acts of nature. Renter will release and hold harmless any and all parties involved with the rental management and the reservations of the property and to release and hold harmless its Owners or Owner's representative of the property for any loss or damage to personal property or any injury and/or death. 22.By accepting and paying for this reservation, guest understands and agrees to the above conditions, requirements for renting the premises, and house policies (items 1-23) include in this Agreement. Guest further agrees that if rental is paid by credit card, guest specifically authorizes the charging of their credit card for any and all damage done to the premises or additional cleaning or other fees as noted above.
