  We arrived late at night and stayed at the Overlook for a long weekend and it was absolutely wonderful! In the morning, the views that greeted us were awesome - the river to the south and the ocean to the west. The house was exactly as described, very clean, new, and comfortable along with everything you could possible need in the kitchen. The house is only a couple of blocks from the highway and downtown, but we never heard the traffic and walked everywhere we wanted to go. Breakfast at the Drift Inn was amazing. We will definitely go back!

  The pictures didn't do it justice! The layout of the house was perfect with the great room style allowing for everyone to visit together. And the view was incredible. Not to mention the walking distance to our favorite restaurants, The Green Salmon and The Drift Inn was less than 2 blocks. We absolutely loved it and will be back!

• A Perfect Location

  My husband and I think that this home has the perfect location. We stayed for a week, and loved watching the changing weather from our cozy nest. I enjoyed getting up in the morning and walking down the street for a delicious coffee, then down to the ocean. It was absolutely perfect. We did wish the rest of the furniture was as comfortable as the big recliner in the living room. It was almost impossible to get comfortable on the couch and rattan chair. Other than that, everything was great. We will definitely stay here again.

  great view-2blocks from downtown-well furnished incl kitchen-wonderful master bath and bedroom we would recommend this place-lots of windows overlooking the river and ocean and wraparound deck was nice as the weather was perfect

  We were a last minute booking Nan was great and very accomadating as we also addeded a day because we did not want to leave. Beautiful clean home with everything you need and the master bathroom is huge I could live in there. Amazing views from the deck. Great location to walk on the beach and to town. You do not even need your vehicle once you there. Thank you we truly enjoyed your home!!

  We loved this houses layout and design. It was very comfortable and clean with amazing views of town and the ocean. We loved being able to walk to breakfast, lunch or dinner and to the tide pools. We were pleased that the photos online accurately reflected the rental. Working with Nan was easy.The only thing that we would suggest are some better pots and pans for cooking. We enjoy doing our own cooking for breakfasts and the pans available were extremely worn and hard to cook with. Overall we had a great time and would stay again.

  We really enjoyed our stay in your lovely home. The views were phenomenal and the market,shops and restaurants a short walk away. Hiking,tidal pools, wildlife, and light houses were so accessible. We reveled in watching whales and sunsets from your living room and deck.One suggestion ...could you replace a couple of your pans?

• Perfect spot

  The 2nd Street overlook was in a perfect spot to walk to all the Yachats village festivities on the 4th of July holiday. It was also a great place for viewing the fireworks in the evening. Our two families enjoyed our stay in the spacious, well-appointed home.

  My family visited this house during spring break. It was very stormy. All of us, ranging from a 2 yr old to a 60 yr old, had plenty of space and were very comfortable. The kitchen was a dream to cook in as we did have many meals at the house. I highly recommend this house.

  The home was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. For a quiet "You and the Wife" get a way, I think your going to have to look hard to find anything much better. If you choose to bring the family, everything is there to take care their needs as well. The view was very nice and it was close to amenities. I don't think you will be disappointed. I intend on staying here at this home again.
