  It was wonderful!!!! This was one of the most relaxing vacations we have ever had. The view was amazing. We enjoyed the screened in porch SO much and the rockers and swing on the patio. This place is perfect. It is so peaceful there, and yet close to the beach, shopping, historical sites, the bay, and most any eating place you can think of. Our son, his wife, and daughter were supposed to come down, but weren't able because our daughter-in-love had emergency surgery so our trip was cut a litttle short. We want to come back again. If you are looking for a wonderful place to stay at a great value, I would recommend this place! Clean - plenty of room - great view - quiet - just about perfect as Mary Poppins would say! Loved it.

  My sister has a son living in Brunswick and our husbands and I go there twice a years, we found this place and loved it. He has two children that loved the back yard it was well maintained. His wife has a big family and we had many cook outs with lots a room. The inside was big and very clean, had everything we needed. Wish there was a dishwasher.

  My husband and I rented this house out for a week, and it was awesome! Very close to the Jekyl Island. It was comfortable, had everything you needed and was clean! We will be coming back again and bringing the kids with us this time around!

  Our stay on Island View Drive was wonderful! What I liked best about the house was the porch swing and the view from that swing. The house had such a 'homey' feel and you could only imagine all the love that house had seen! I didn't realize I picked the hottest time of the year to go to Georgia, August, and of course last year it was the hottest year on record! But, we spent everyday in the ocean, so it didn't really bother us at all. Too much to see and too much to do kept us busy! shopping, sightseeing and just hanging out at the house made for a great vacation! Great neighbors too, very friendly! Our crew was myself, my husband and our son, his wife and their 2 daughters. None of us had ever been to the ocean, so it was a definite treat! And having the house there made it much more affordable for us to go! I would definitely recommend Island View Drive as a great place to stay when you are visiting Brunswick Ga and all the islands there. GREAT trip! I'm hoping next time, our other son and 2 daughters will be able to make the trip. There's lots of room for everyone! We WILL be back! Thank you Amanda :-)

  My husband, parents, and myself stayed a week in October of 2010 at this vacation rental. The house was well accomodated and very comfortorable. Arrangements of the rental was great through the contact person. You are only about 3 miles from shopping and restaurants. St. Simons Island was only a short drive, but the best part of the whole stay was the spectacular sunrise and sunset. We ate outside several nights. I hope to go back and stay again when I need a break and beautiful scenery.

  We all agreed we want to go back to Brunswick, Georgia. There is so much to do and to see. We went to the Aqaurium for turtles and enjoyed that very much. They were re-habbing injured turtles back to health. Enjoyed Jeykl Island and St Simmons island also. Easy to get around in Brunswick and the house is very accessible to getting anywhere. My grandsons played every day or night on the backyard tree swing. We even had a little turtle come up close to the house in the back yard. We collected seashells and sand dollars to take home. And also a nice tan :)

Additional information about rental rates

Monthly Rates is $1300 includes utility/ Summer rented Sat-Sat/ Special rates for McGladrey Classic and GA/FL week.

Spring/Summer $600.00 Sat-Sat rental

Fall/Winter $500 Sat-Sat rental

Additional amount of $75.00 due for cleaning fee, over 10 people extra $10.00 per person.

Cancellation policy:

** Balance is due in full 3 weeks prior to check-in. Payments shall be in cash, check, cashiers or travelers checks. In the event of a cancellation it is necessary to notify owner as soon as possible. Attempts will be made to re-rent your accommodation. If we are successful, your deposit of $100.00 will be refunded. This agreement shall not be assigned or the premises sublet without written consent of Landlord. I (we) hereby agree to vacate rented premises no later than the hour and date shown above and to return the keys immediately to the owner. Before vacating, I (we) will clean the premises thoroughly, which includes the following: 1. Clean refrigerator. Leave no food or drink in it. 2. Empty all garbage into green garbage can outside and place by the road. 3. Clean stove, range & grill, counter tops, sinks and appliances. Wipe all surfaces so that they are free of grease and food. 4. Place all used linens and towels in laundry room that need to be cleaned for the next family. 5. Do not re-arrange furniture. Owner will retain $25 from deposit for moving furniture back. In the event that a pet, house party or grilling on covered porches/decks is found on the premises during your stay if they are not allowed per agreement, Landlord/owner shall have the right to ask you to leave the premises immediately with no refund of monies paid. I (we) agree maintain the property in the same condition in which it was found. Reasonable wear and tear accepted. I (we) agree to replace or pay for losses, breakage or damage should such occur. LANDLORD/OWNER SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGE OR LOSS OF TENANTS PERSONAL PROPERTY. Please sign both copies and return one with your deposit check of $100.00 to property manager address on front page. Dates of rentals are guaranteed (exception: Act of God, e.g. fire, mandatory evacuation due to hurricane) when deposit has been received. Please make all checks payable to Property Manager: Amanda Coakley________. ($35.00 fee will be charged for any return checks) NOTE: REFUNDS ARE MADE IF DUE TO ACT OF GOD (see previous paragraph) I (we) have read and accepted all legal items listed in agreement and hereby certify that I am at least 25 years of age. Anyone found to be younger than this age is subject to termination of agreement without refund and/or eviction from premises.
