I am an American lady from Chicago who moved down to Vallarta 29 years ago. I came to Vallarta for ther first time when they were making the movie "Night of the Iguana" and fell in love with the place. Weather perfect, local folks friendly, ambiance fantastic.

Who could resist the jungle foleige, the mountain view which surrounds the town, the variety of waterfowl, the fantastic deep sea fishing, the wonderful restaurants, including a few five star.
The seafood, fresh from the days catch, the fresh squeezed fruit juices, the fresh vegetalbe and fruit that are grown locally. And best of all is the affordability of all that Mexico has to offer compared to vacationing in other areas and parts of the world.
