Welcome to Quality Time! A very spacious and comfortable OCEANFRONT home which offers fantastic water views and natural beauty both from the front and back of the home. You will enjoy your own private walkway to a wide, private strand of beautiful white sand. The front porch offers spectacular sunset views over the SOUND and MARSH. Your private boat dock awaits on the sound as well.
This home is located within an exclusive, gated community on the far west end of the island. There are only 30 homes in this stretch so your beach will be very quiet and peaceful. The biggest decision of the day will be where to plop your beach chair ~ all that sand is yours!!
'Quality Time' offers 6 bedrooms, each with its own private bath. On the 1st floor - Bedroom 1 is a MBR with king bed and ocean view. Bedroom 2 has two double beds. On the 2nd floor - Bedroom 3 offers a great space for children with a pyramid bunk, another twin, and a trundle. Bedrooms 4 and 5 each have queen sized beds. And the best for last, a second MBR Suite with a king bed, private sitting room and sun porch. It has incredible ocean views and boasts a spa-like bath.
The spacious great room offers fabulous ocean views from the 3 bay windows. It includes a wet bar with ice machine. A separate cozy den gives a second TV area for the late nighters.
This home has a large, well equipped kitchen with 2 full-size refrigerators, double ovens, dishwasher, a six burner cooktop and a microwave. Every dish, pan and utensil you might need are provided as well as complimentary spices. No kitchen would be complete without an ocean view as well ! A gas grill is provided for the guys night(s) to cook. Enjoy dinner in your elegant dining room with an incredible view of the sound and marsh. Open the curtains and start watching for that sunset.
After dinner enjoy the outdoor deck or covered front porch, both with plenty of rocking chairs for relaxing. Nothing better than a rocking chair, a cool drink and a beautiful sunset to end the day.
But rest up, because tomorrow you can enjoy more surf, sand castles, ocean breezes, and sea shell hunting. There are tide pools to explore and crabs to catch in the marsh.
Maybe you'd like to read a book under the gazebo, or enjoy the sound of the waves from the mini deck overlooking the ocean.
There is plenty of space both inside and out for all to enjoy the tranquility of 'Quality Time'.

Ocean Isle is a family oriented, quiet and uncrowded beach with a variety of restaurants nearby. Modern, full service grocery stores are located just off the island.
Ocean Isle is located 45 minutes from both the Wilmington, NC and Myrtle Beach, SC airports. The Myrtle Beach and Barefoot Landing area hosts live shows, golf, entertainment, golf, outlet shopping, and golf.
There are a variety of golf courses within 30 minutes of Ocean Isle, catering to golfers of all levels.
Southport, NC offers a quaint town with lovely antique shops and local artists' boutiques. Several museums, an aquarium, and a planetarium are nearby as well.

This was our second trip down to Ocean Isle and both trips we have stayed at Quality Time. I love this house - we spent nights in the main living room, the back deck and the front deck and each had plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy the scenery while catching up. Having direct beach access from the house makes trips to and from the beach easy, especially with small children in tow. It was nice being able to take our young daughter and her cousins down to the beach and not worry if they were in other beach-goer's way or losing track of them amongst the crowd. You almost have the feeling of being on a private beach. We filled each room of the house, yet we didn't feel as if we were on top of one another- there was still plenty of room to find a quiet pocket within the house or out on one of the decks for some quiet time. The kitchen was spacious enough to prepare meals every night to feed 8 children and twelve adults, with room to spare for storing leftovers. We'll definitely be back to Quality Time next year. It's quickly become our favorite place.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

This is not just another beach house. It is truly a beach home. Plenty of room for the entire family and some friends. We had eleven adults and one child and plenty of room for sit down meals, watching TV, playing board games and just relaxing. The home is elegantly furnished and very comfortable. From the interior rooms to the exterior decks everything is first class. Looking out front you have a unobstructed view of the coastal waterway and out back the ocean. The beach is spectacular and secluded, at times seemed private. You can fish the ocean surf or the coastal waterway and catch an assortment of fish. The sun can be hot so the walkway gazebo offered a cool breeze in the shade. You can shop up and down the coast and head down to Myrtle Beach and come back to your quiet, comfortable, and elegant home to watch the sun set. Plan at least one meal at Sharky's on the island, but bring lots of shirts and a few swim suits - that's really all you need for the week.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car.

"Quality Time" lives up to its name. We have vacationed in OIB for the last six years and this home is the nicest we've stayed in by far. This home easily accomodates our large group of family and friends both inside and out. We spend our days soaking up the sun on the beach that seems to belong only to us and in the evening, the sunsets are spectacular!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

Located in an exclusive area of Ocean Isle this house not only sat oceanfront with a breathtaking beach but also sat sound front with equally breathtaking views and incredible sunsets. Having rented several vacation homes in Virginia and North Carolina, this was my first trip to Ocean Isle, and what a pleasant surprise it was, both the area and the home. This is not your typical beach house. Very well furnished and decorated and perfect for several families. You felt like you had your own private beach, and I will definitely be going back.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.
