  Great vacation! This condo is beautiful, nicely decorated and well stocked. It has a great view of the golf course and the ocean in the distance. The coastal trail behind Merrimans was awesome, we hiked it most days. The Seahouse restaurant was very good (just past Merrimans).

  Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

  First and foremost we must thank the property owners for making this fabulous property available to rent. Secondly we would be remiss if we did not acknowledge Dave Hailey for helping to make this a spectacular vacation. Dave is a sincere gentleman who was available any time to answer any and all questions for our pending vacation. My initial contact with Dave lasted approximately 30 minutes and he answered any and all questions in an honest and forthright manner. After a long flight from central Canada we rented a car and met Dave in the immediate area of the Kapalua golf villas. After initial introductions we were guided to our rental unit and were awestruck with the supreme beauty of this unit. The photographs do not do justice to the workmanship in this condo. This condo did not lack for any small appliance, kitchen tool or amenity you would require to prepare any meal. We were very close to one of the community pools which had two modern natural gas Weber barbecues at our disposal. The closet on the lanai had multiple snorkel units, boogie boards, hard and soft sided coolers, beach chairs and basically anything one would need for the many beautiful nearby beaches. We enjoyed many morning coffees and evening drinks on the well appointed lanai. The sunsets are world class from this property. Without getting into too much personal detail one of us suffered a self inflicted injury and contacted Dave for a recommendation for a medical facility. Dave not only made an appointment for us but offered to attend our unit and drive us to the appointment. In our opinion Dave went above and beyond his duties as a property manager. We cannot thank Dave enough for all he has done for us during our vacation. This was our first time utilizing VRBO, the bar has been set very high and in our opinion it will be very difficult to acquire a property as well appointed as this unit. We have recommended this property to others and will return to this unit when we return to Maui.

  Had a wonderful time, villa was superb had all the amenities and activity gear that one needed to enjoy Maui. Dave was great; had all my groceries stocked and ready for me, could not have asked for better service. We will definitely come back and tell all my friends about this wonderful place.

  We came here on our first family vacation together with our 10 month year old daughter. The location and accommodations were perfect for making it an easy and relaxing vacation. Dave helped us with transportation to and from the airport as well as making sure there was a crib in the master bedroom. The location is walking distance to several restaurants high and low (ie: Merrimans, Honolua for their lunch plates, Sansei, Pineapple Grill,etc) as well as beautiful Kapalua bay and Napili beach. For us, it was perfect to have the amenities of a private condo (ie: washer and dryer for soiled baby clothes, kitchen for baby food, etc) and we preferred the intimacy and peacefulness of the area vs. the loud/bustling strip hotels south of us. We enjoyed eating on the outdoor patio and used it whenever we decided to eat at the condo. They also provide all the beach gear you would need from beach towels, chairs, boogie board and snorkeling gear. We even used the residential pool and grill one evening. My husband and I are both well traveled and were very happy with the accommodations and location. Overall- we had a great family vacation and would recommend this unit and Dave to others. **ps: Dave made several recommendations which all turned out to be correct- so I would not waste time and follow his pointers!

  Everything about this condo was terrific. The view from the balcony was beautiful. We dined outside and watched the sunset most nights. The condo was completely stocked with everything needed for a great vacation. It is very close to one of the best beaches we saw on Maui. We will definitely stay here again. Thanks to Dave for all he did to make our vacation great.

  We stayed at this condo in January and loved its location. It was quiet, with a lovely view and the renovation to the interior is everything and more as shown in the photos.

  My husband and I recently celebrated our honeymoon in Kapalua. We were nervous about staying in a place that we had not seen before. Our concerns were quickly subsided when we walked into our beautiful condo. We ate every meal on our lanai and loved watching the beautiful ocean. Dave was great and he was very hospitable to any question we had. I hope we can afford to return to not only Hawaii but to this wonderful Villa!

  My wife and I selected this villa for our wedding\honeymoon and we couldn't have been happier. First, let me say that Dave Hailey, the representative for this villa, was wonderful to work with. He made sure our stay was perfect and made us feel right at home. He is genuinely a great guy. Now for the villa. I can't say enough about this place. The view has to be one of the best in all of Kapalua. It has the perfect combination of greenery and ocean. We spent the majority of our time on the lanai enjoying the view and whale watching. The villa is wonderfully decorated with every amenity you could possibly need. Up until the day we left we were still finding surprises like umbrellas, boogie boards, and snorkeling equipment for our use. My wife and I were planning a beach wedding the second day we arrived. Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate that day. We ended up having the ceremony right on the villa's lanai. That is how great the view is. We plan on coming back next year for our anniversary and we won't stay anywhere else but this villa. Why mess with a good thing!!

  "We decided to rent one of Platinum Maui Vacations newly renovated villas as a trial never having rented before. Our expectations were exceeded by the professional set up of the team. From the correspondence throughout the process to the pickup from the airport on our arrival to Maui. The villa was stunning, the presentation and the cleanliness,the team were on tap throughout our stay and we had the best holiday ever. We will never go back to luxury hotels again as this experience surpasses it"

  Dear Dave and Bambi A quick note now that we are back in Australia to once again thank you both for our recent stay in Maui. The villa was absolutely stunning and really was a 'home away from home'. You could not have been more helpful and really went out of your way to ensure our stay was a wonderful one. For those interested in booking this Villa, I could not reccommend it highly enough. It is impeccably appointed - spotlessly clean, beautifully renovated and very well equipped in every way.
