This classic mid-century modern villa is located at 660 Belardo a 5 minute walk from the North end of the strip. A unique cluster of 10 Villas/Condos. Using the Wexler paper fold roof architecture, this one-level condo has an open floor plan. It was built when Palm Springs was a premier destination of Hollywood Celebrities during the 1940s –1960s. Our House is featured in Dolly Faibyshev's book 'Palm Springs Mid-Century Modern'.
Set within lush grounds featuring stunning views of the San Jacinto Mountains and swimming pool area, the condo still possess a Hollywood charm. We are just down the street from the former residences of Lucille Ball, Lily Tomlin and Liberace. Close to the current residence of Barbra Striesand and Michael Douglas.
This spacious 2000 sq. ft. condo has recently been updated and upgraded with fine finishes, yet remains authentic to the original design. The furnishings and décor have been carefully selected to be mid-century modern with a contemporary flair. The unique setting of this home has west-facing mountain views from the kitchen and is steps to the swimming pool. Two of the bedrooms have views of the new private patio area.
The master suite has a queen size bed and a private full bath (large shower). The second and third bedrooms have a shared bath. The second bedroom has two twin beds and the third bedroom has a queen size bed.
Additional features include heating/air-conditioning, custom closets, flat screen (LCD) cable TV. The fully equipped kitchen has new appliances. There is a stacked front loading washer and dryer in the villa’s private utility room. All linens are provided.

We stayed in this lovely townhouse in February 2012. It is a delightful, bright and beautifully decorated home. The place was spotless. The kitchen was well-appointed with everything we needed, including basics like cooking oil, salt and pepper. Comfy beds, cute linens, lots of towels. Great pool and enclosed courtyard, much appreciated by our small children (and as parents we appreciated the fence around the pool). Stunning views of the mountains from the pool area and from the house. We loved being able to walk to great restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques and thrift stores. No groceries close by, but a bike rental place is around the corner. We're runners, so we enjoyed morning runs through the Old Las Palmas neighbourhood.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.

I feel honored to be the first guest at this Merito Manor bungalow! It was a such delight to stay there, I didn't want to leave! The mid-century modern architecture and mix of modern and vintage furnishings were a perfit accompaniment to the activities my Palm Springs Modernism Week visit. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet with beautiful views and yet just a few steps away from the activities, shopping & dining of the strip... all within easy walking distance. A pleasant stroll through the lovely and renown Old Las Palmas neighborhood beckons just outside the front door. The thoughtful and caring hospitality of the owner and property manager was especially endearing... a welcome basket loaded with goodies and brochures awaited my arrival. I'm looking forward to returning...Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Our place has been re-modeled in classic mid-centruy modern decour. Vintage lamps and furniture, Kitchen redone in 50's style. Attention to detail down to the record player with Elvis Album, the Life magazines on the coffee table with Kennedy / Johnson on the cover.
The property is part of a 10 home development so there is peace and quiet. The pool area is easily accessible.
I love being only one block from the Palm Springs strip. No need for a car or the hassles of parking. Easy walking distance to cafes, restauraunts,clubs, bars and casino.
