30319 is one of the safest zip codes in Atlanta, do the online research!
This is a 1,440 square foot house with a 12 x 20 living room, a 12 x 12 family room and two 13 x`13 bedrooms and one 10 x 10 bedroom. There is plenty of space for privacy. The house sits on a 1/3 acre slice of green urban oasis.
This house is 1/2 mile to Buckhead, one Marta train stop, or a thirty minute walk to Phipps Plaza. The financial district is two miles away. Fannie Mae offices are one train stop away.
No Security Deposit required.
Included for use in the home is everything you could want while visiting an urban area and are not interested in the 'hotel lifestyle'. There are upscale features like silk drapes and real oriental carpets. The dishes are vintage collectibles and there are high end pots and pans, including two sizes of flan pans. There is a food processor and ice cream machine. Most small appliances are Cuisinart. Heavy flatware. Salt, pepper and some spices are provided.
Fluffy Egyptian cotton towels are in good supply with cotton quilts, cotton blankets and extra down pillows provided for all the beds. There are soft extra blankets in the closet in case they are needed. The sheets are also very good quality cotton.
Cleanliness: we clean every glass and smooth surface. Rugs are regularly shampooed after doggies are guests.
In short, the place is the way you like to live.
The neighborhood is perfect for running or jogging. Plenty of street lights. The home comes with a treadmill in case of bad weather (treadmill will be locked if your group has children under the age of 16.)
The little things are furnished such as laundry soap and fabric softener for the full sized newer front loading high efficiency laundry appliances.
There are two living spaces, one of which can be closed off if needed.
Well inside the perimeter, the subdivision is on the Ridgedale Park side of Peachtree Road, across Peachtree Road from the area known as Old Brookhaven.
What you will love about this urban oasis is that the neighborhood is established with large trees and mature landscaping. Your strolls through the neighborhood will be enjoyable in any season of the year.
The location is excellent. Locals know that Brookhaven is a great neighborhood. Not as congested as the Buckhead garden subdivisions, yet very convenient. The number one complaint common to the Atlanta area is traffic. Well, travelers, just walk two and one half blocks to the Marta Station and you can ride to Stone Mountain Amusement Park, America's Mart, downtown, Airport, Midtown, Buckhead or pretty much anywhere in the Atlanta metro area. While on the train you may see folks stuck on 400 from your train window.
Emory and the CDC are six miles away. Just one right hand turn out of the subdivision and three more turns.
Turner Field is eleven and a half miles away, America's Mart is nine miles away and Piedmont Hospital is five miles from the home. The W in Midtown is a seven mile drive.
You can board the commuter train in the airport and be at the Brookhaven Marta train station in 23 minutes, roll your suitcase to the house in a few more minutes (Or take a taxi for six dollars! Taxis are always in front of the Brookhaven station). Return home by the reverse route.
The Georgia World Congress Center is 9.4 miles away.
There are Atlanta cultural attractions including opera and ballet. The Georgia Shakespeare Company's productions at Oglethorpe University are less th 2 miles away.
For shopping, if you are fit you can walk to the Buckhead Filene's basement, Lenox Square and Phipps Plaza at 1.5 miles. If you love antiques and thrift stores, Antiques Row in Chamblee is a train stop and short .5 mile bus ride away.

We had a great time staying at this property. It was equipped with everything you'd need and more! It is located in a beautiful and friendly neighborhood. We walked every day around the neighborhood, looking at the gorgeous homes. Our whole family had a wonderful trip to Atlanta and we'd definitely stay at this property again and the owner, Marcia, was very friendly also :)Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, pet owners, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Our family tries very hard to create an Atlanta vacation experience that will create fond memories. As for the kindness of the neighbors, they are unsurpassed! Your enthusiasm is most appreciated.

We had a very nice time in your home. There was everything that we needed. Friendly neighborhood, stores are close and also Marta station. Ashford Park, Little Nancy Park and Morgan Falls were our girls' favorites. Mom liked Marshall stores, so many near by, also jogging opportunities.Did you find this review helpful? This house was just as described and fit our needs. Came to plan for my daughter's wedding at the Atlanta Botanical Garden. Location, location, location is excellent! Quiet, safe, beautiful, walkable neighborhood with nearby activities, attractions and restaurants very close at hand and easy access to Marta train. Only able to get one channel on TV but owner promised to look into the problem and check the battery of the remote.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, pet owners, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. It means a lot to my family that you would promote our business in this way. As for the remote, by the time I knew of your issue, another family was staying in the home and when I went in after, it was working fine. I am always just a phone call away, and we keep extra remote batteries in the "junk drawer" in the kitchen.

I stayed at this home for a conference that was being held downtown at the Sheraton, and had one of the most relaxed, comfortable, worry free stays! Marcia was kind and helpful and this home was exactly as described. All the rooms were comfortable and clean (the beds were so nice!) and the neighborhood was quiet and very safe. We had two small dogs, my daughter and my assistant and there was plenty of room. The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked with towels and dishes and there were plenty of extra appliances for creating meals. There were shops and restaurants conveniently nearby, and getting downtown was fairly easy (if timed correctly, LOL), this home is located near every place that we needed. All in all a good time was had by all and I will and have highly recommended this home to anyone staying in Atlanta. Thank you Marcia!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Please visit again soon, and know that I am a phone call away with any questions or concerns.

Thanks so much for allowing us to stay in your "yellow house". I cant tell you how much we enjoyed our time spent in Atlanta. We travel once a year for our sons Dr appts and usually stay in a 4 star hotel. This year this wasnt possible due to finances. You gave us all the luxury we are used too. We have four children ranging from 3-15 and each one loved our "yellow house". We hope to visit every year! Thanks again!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: My family strives to make our short term tenants feel as if they are our family, as well. We want your visit at in Atlanta to be a great experience.

This was a great rental for three adult ladies, offering each their own bedroom and space. I traveled with a sister and a friend to site-see and enjoy a Braves game. The house is in the Buckhead neighborhood, a very safe and beautiful area. It's 2 blocks from a Kroger grocery store, 3-4 blocks from the Marta Brookhaven station and a variety of restaurants within walking distance. Marta was so easy and convenient to use. We did rent a car because we traveled to Stone Mountain, a beautiful park that includes a tour of an old plantation mansion and buildings but used the Marta for all travel and site-seeing in downtown Atlanta. The only concerns we had were that we were never able to get wi-fi, and the cable channels kept going out. We also would recommend a hand rail for the back stairs in the carport. Otherwise, we definitely enjoyed our stay here.Owner response: Any time there is a problem with wifi or cable, I am just a phone call away. This is the first I have heard of it. I even spoke to the renter while she was in the home, with no mention of this. If any of my renters have a problem with the amenities at my place, please let me know rather than mentioning problems in a review. UPDATE The house had no problems with internet when I stayed following this group. I had the repair crew for the service come by and install new switches and such on the outside of the house leading in, just to be doubly sure there was no problem with the television or internet.

What a nice cozy place to stay yet had plenty of room for our group. Enjoyed the safe surroundings and was very nice to come back to after a long day at the GWCC. Will definitely recommend and will rent again if given the choice. Very nice owner as well! Called to check to make sure everything was okay. Thanks again!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.
Owner response: I am so glad you enjoyed your stay. My family set the house up the way we like things ourselves, with comfortable beds and upholstered furniture. Marselle, Marcia, Sarah and Bryan send their best wishes.

What a great rental! Marcia was so accomondating. I traveled with my daughter, son in law and 2 babies. Marcia went out of her way to add a second crib and even had a stuffed animal and baby blankets with the cribs. Lots of room, very warm atmosphere. Can't wait to stay there again. This house is in a great neighborhood and I would highly recommend it. Thank you Marcia for your Southern hospitality. The pictures you see are exactly the way it is only one difference the kitchen table was square and quite wobbly but doable. Very clean, great towels, bedding with lots of extras of everything. Having a washer and dryer was great! This house was close do downtown and Stone Mtn. Highly recommend.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thank you. The table is vintage Hickory Furniture and the one in the ad is the same, only without the leaf.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2009
About the owner: Sarah and her mother, Marcia have been in the rental business for many years. Bryan has a background in the hospitality industry. Grandma Marselle financed the operation and sometimes lends a hand with cleaning and decorating. Our family's idea was to create a space for visitors where things are pretty, towels and sheets are of good quality and the flatware and kitchen implements are nice, as well. You won't see personal pictures and knick knacks are at a minimum. Our place is for you to enjoy. We planned it as if our guests were people we knew personally and cared about.
Why the Owner Chose Atlanta:
This location is so laid back and yet undiscovered other than by locals. You can walk to what you need, one of the few Atlanta communities where you don't need a car. Krogers, dry cleaners, banks, Chinese food, hamburgers, hot dogs, ice cream, Dry Cleaners and Starbucks less than .2 miles away. Ten restaurants and bars within a one half mile walk.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
The neighbors. They are out walking with their families and their dogs. It is a friendly community.
