'Casa Antigua' is a unique Mexican Colonial style home in the Bay of La Ventana. Enjoy the atmopshere of a hacienda style home with all the modern day amenities and comforts of a new home. Our home has a central location that would be perfectly suited for a couple or a couple with children. We also have a honda quad for rent with the home, with front and rear racks its perfect for hauling gear to all the beaches and launches, just perfect for exploring the whole area.
La Ventana and El Sargento have miles of incredible beaches to explore and breathtaking views , we encourage our clients to enjoy all of the local activites at as many of the different beaches as possible.
La Ventana is well known for fishing, windsurfing, scuba diving, mountain biking , hiking , bird watching, beachcombing and all water activites. Enjoy the local restaurants and bars or take a short day or evening trip in to the city of La Paz which is our states capital. The entire Southern State of Baja is very secure for all travellers and tourists and locals. This home was lived in by us and is now completely furnished with all you will need to make your vacation comfortable. We guarantee the home will always be clean and well maintained.

The property is clean, comfortable and has a great kitchen and patio, it is close to the road but also close to town. It is as advertised and very good value for the house. There is a good beach to launch kites from just down the hill. I would definitly recommend this property we had a great experience.Recommended for: Age 55+, adventure seekers, families with young children, tourists without a car.

What a find. Excellent accommodations nestled in a small Mexican town, surrounded by mountains. Close to all the amenities; restaurants, laundry, groceries, water sports, mountain biking, hiking trails you name it. Mexican community are super friendly and helpful. Local food is delicious and very inexpensive, we dined out a lot! Try the tortilla soup at Ponchos, our favorite. It's very easy to be a vegetarian here. The Thursday Market at the North end of town has fresh veggies and greens for sale, local crafts and more. Can't say enough abut the house. Tastefully decorated with all you'll need to maximize your stay. They even have a blender, smoothies every day from local strawberries! The king sized bed is very comforable. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and pots and pans etc. We easily entertained a group of 12 kiteboarders from the beach front trailer park down the road. Seriously, get to know the kiteboarders they have all the fun gear and can show you the cool hiking and mountain biking trails, point you in the right direction to get kite board lessons or rent a stand up paddle board. They're mostly retired and very active. They live on the beach for months at a time and know the area really well. Great source of information. The place comes with two cruser bikes, lawn chairs and snorkeling gear. When we go again, and we will, we'll take our own mountain bikes. The one speeds are great for the road but not so great for the trails. Easy to rent ATV's from the locals, great way to see the amazing country side. Brian has everything well thought out and is very helpful and accommodating. The girls in the real estate office were also helpful in navigating needs and interests. Seriously, best vacation we're had yet. If you're outdoorsy, adventuresome, like good food and want to vacation in a very safe area check this place out. You won't regret it.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Just as described - very clean, well maintained accommodation. Centrally located - had everything we needed. Will definitely return.Recommended for: Age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.
