A wonderfully modern , clean, and well equipped apartment in the heart of the Alfama District. Old world charm with narrow cobblestoned streets with lots of nearby sights. Convenient small markets, restaurants, and easy walking to public transportation. For those with limited mobility, the area is quite hilly and there are two flights of stairs to the apartment. Comes complete with TV including English language stations and free internet access, fully equipped kitchen with a full range of appliances, and a washing machine. Accommodated two couples comfortably with very nice separate en suite bathrooms. Owner was most helpful both in helping with arrangements as well as advice on local transportation restaurants and sights. Highly recommended.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.
