Discover oceanfront living at its relaxed best in our 3 bedroom 3.5 bath unit. A compact gem, this comfortable vacation rental has a full bath with each bedroom plus an extra half bath on the upper level and an extra shower located outdoors. This is an affordable home offering comfortable oceanfront accomodations often difficult to find for small families, two to three couples, or honeymooners.
The unit is conveniently located in the 3300 block of Ocean Drive, a street away from Highway 58 near mile marker 15.5 and 3.5 miles from the town's new marina and boat launch. Sightseeing and recreational opportunities abound in Emerald Isle and nearby Atlantic Beach, Morehead City, Beaufort, and Swansboro.
BEDROOMS
One master bedroom with en suite bath is located on the second level. The queen sized, down filled, pillow top mattress offers luxurious rest. Touch bedside lamp sconces provide excellent lighting for bed-time reading. The bath has twin sinks and a jetted whirlpool tub/shower for relaxing pleasure. Softened water available throughout the unit completes the pampered feeling for relaxed oceanfront living.
A second master bedroom is on the lower level. The queen sized bed has the same luxurious mattress as the upstairs master. The en suite bath has a jetted whirlpool tub/shower plus full sized washer and dryer. The bedroom has cable connection for quiet time TV watching.
The third bedroom is also on the lower level and has 2 bunk bed sets which sleep up to four people. The bedroom has a TV with cable connection and is served by the adjacent hall bath with shower.
LIVING and DINING AREA
The living/dining area is located on the second level with spectacular views of the ocean. There is access to an outside deck and the beach from this room. The living/dining area provides space for conversation, family games, and dining. A 32 inch flat screen HDTV, cable, and Bluray DVD player are located in this area so you can check the news, view a favorite show or movie. Wireless internet is throughout the home. Help yourself to any of the excellent novels on the etagere. If you don't finish it while you are there, take it home with our compliments.
KITCHEN
The compact well-furnished kitchen is on the second floor living level. The kitchen is arranged so that muliple compatible cooks can prepare either family feasts or light snacks. The kitchen was renovated in 2009 and features new cabinetry, stove, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, toaster, and coffee maker.
DECKS and LAWN
From the second floor living area, step out onto the upper ocean side deck. Enjoy early morning coffee and late afternoon cold drinks. Watch the changing tides and surf. See dolphins playing as they patrol the shoreline. The upper deck has a table for dining and additional chairs for relaxing. If you have small children, you can easily watch over their safety as they play in the yard. If they are older, you can still keep an eye on them as they play farther away in the sand and surf.
The lower deck has a spacious enclosed hot/cold shower allowing you to bathe away salt and sand after your time on the beach. Many guests find this one of the more pleasant baths. The beach toy box is located on this level and contains various beach toys such as skim boards, body boards, and rafts. The lower deck is set up with chairs and table. You'll find additional beach chairs and yard games of croquet, bocce, and horseshoes in the enclosed locker. A Weber charcoal grill and picnic tables complete this level.

I wanted to let you know what a wonderful time we had at Emerald Isle and to thank you for sharing your home with us. Your place was absolutely perfect for us. Darling condo in a triplex building neat as a pin, (clean, clean, clean!), with everything a renter needs for a wonderful stay on the beach at Emerald Isle. Owners were professional, warm and welcoming; generally interested that we had a great stay in their beach home. This will easily accomodate a couple for a romatic weekend up to a family of 4 adults and 4 children. Children are not near the main living area so they will sleep, sleep, sleep! This truly is right on the beach with wonderful sunrises and sunsets.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, age 55+.

We stayed in this townhouse, and enjoyed a great week. We traveled with 3 generations - grandparents & teenage kids. With 3 comfortable bedrooms, each with its own bathroom - plus an extra half bath and outside shower - everyone stayed comfotably. Being right on the beach, everyone could keep their own schedule, grandparents walked on the beach in the morning when the teens slept in, the teenagers played in the ocean while grandparents took afternoon naps. We, the parents, stayed relaxed knowing everyone was having a fun and relaxing time. The sights and sounds of the ocean were beautiful anytime of the day. With so many good restaurants in the area, everyone enjoyed themselves. We also enjoyed activities like parasailing, jet skiing, and a dinner cruise - which were just 15 minutes away by car. The owners provided lots of equipment like fishing rods, beach chairs, frisbee, body surf boards which made the stay extra enjoyable for the teens. They also keep a very helpful binder of information pamphlets on restaurants, nearby activities, local history, etc. We had a wonderful stay!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+.

Spent previous summer vacations at various locations along the N.C. coast, as far south as Myrtle Beach, S.C., before I found this perfect spot on Emerald Isle. This townhome is immaculate, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. Ocean-side decks are ideal for enjoying morning coffee, and dinners after a fun day on the beach. Outdoor shower and backyard with picnic area add functionality to the space. Grocery store, shopping, and good restaurants are nearby. North Carolina Aquarium is 15 minutes away on the Island. Owner is delightful and keeps property well-maintained.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, age 55+.

About the owner: We are a retired couple who purchased this property during 1994. Since then, we've shared our vacation home with family, friends, and renters. We find the home ideal for gatherings of groups of 8 or less. Seeing the ocean and beach at any time of day from any place on the property is awesome! An extra plus are the water activities, good restaurants, shopping and sight seeing that are close by.
