"The Switchback" is located in a wooded lakefront setting. It includes a main lodge with a separate annex connected by extensive decking. A illuminated switchback trail leads to a sundeck and boatdock. Crappie beds are within an easy cast. The main lodge includes two bedrooms, one bath, living room, and a well equipped kitchen. The Annex, has one bedroom, one bath, large living room with sleeper sofa, full kitchen and dining room both with lake views and they are on
the lake.
This property is within one mile of a full service marina offering. From "The Switchback," you can easily cross the bay to the marina. The home is centrally located 10 minutes from "Land Between the Lakes" and the many Kentucky State Resort Parks serving both Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley.

Relaxing Weekend

We traveled from central Illinois to visit family in the area for the holiday. The Switchback was Awesome! We couldn't have asked for a better visit. Both cabins were fully equiped with everything we needed. We didn't have to miss our pets at home because we were supplied with a very friendly dog and kitty that greeted us each morning. It was a very relaxing weekend. Sunday morning while having coffee, we saw 9 baby deer out the window. We also saw wild turkeys! I got some great photos. We will definately visit again.
Recommended for:People with disabilities, romantic getaway, pet owners, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.
