This seven year running, million dollar, Tour of Homes showcase was built, designed and formerly owned by an Atlanta Architect and will be made available for a limited number of weeks throughout the year. The home is considered by many as the top home available on Fripp Island. The house contains 6600 total square feet, with 4200 heated and air with four finished porches of 2400 square feet, on three levels with both a MARSH AND GOLF COURSE VIEW.
Designed in a style reminiscent of the British Colonial or West Indies Plantation you will experience Mahogany cabinets salvaged from the Carnegie Library built in the 1930's and all interior Mahogany paired doors from a girl's school built circa 1930's with an extensive original artwork collection. The kitchen has all granite counters, and throughout the house are hand made light fixtures from South Hampton.
This home is impeccably maintained, but is a casual home that features six bay segments. Looking at the house from the street the left is a two-story entryway, center kitchen, and right library. The three bays in the back of the house run 45 feet and are all open and segmented into dining, living, and fireplace with hardwood floors throughout. The upstairs expansive six-foot board and bead hall opens to five bedrooms (two with Kings, one Queen, and two with twin beds) all with balconies, assured to create fanciful dreams on this island paradise. Also, this home has four baths, an out door shower, a private den, a separate downstairs kids room with large TV and game room. Also included are adult bikes, two-door garage, and a lower floor shower when arriving from the beach.
Two Master Amenity cards give you access to all private club activities. THE OCEAN IS 300 YARDS OR A Four MINUTE WALK AWAY. You overlook the 17th tee of Ocean Creek Golf, and less than a five minute bike to the Beach Club, Cabana Club, or Marina. The yard, grassed front and back, is shaded by 25 palm trees, live oaks and is great for outdoor play. Also are four TV's, three VCRs, CD, and stereo system.
The back of the house faces the marsh and the prevailing wind direction. For eight months of the year all 12 double doors can be opened to create an ideal cross breeze. You will combine indoor and outdoor living to its fullest. The front of the house overlooks the pond and 17th tee of the Golf Course.
This home has hosted multiple families with children of all ages, and the house holds up to normal wear very well. The house is very eye appealing, but very comfortable and casual. Its built as the ultimate beach house and is casual not formal. Well behaved kids do fine.

* Half of rental due 90 days prior to reserved date ($500 to reserve a date).
* $500 Refundable Security Deposit due with Final Rental Fee
45 days prior to rental. 20% fee if canceled within 30 days of arrival.

Why the Owner Chose Ocean Creek, Bonito Boathouses
Fripp Island is like Mayberry with a beach. The island is about 3 miles long and 1 mile wide so so you are always close to the beach. Two really good golf courses, tennis, bikepaths, boat marina in golf cart community. We never lock our doors and crime is not a word that exist on Fripp Island. Our children grew up here during the summers, and and now our grand children are here with us. Sunburn is the only negative thing that has happened to our family in over 20 years of enjoying Fripp. You can walk to everything or bike or golf cart if you prefer. Fripp is truly a way of life where time may not stop, but definitely slows down.

We enjoy our travel everywhere we go. We have four children and three grandchildren that get to visit with us at Fripp Island throughout the year. This picture was taken in Greece in 2007 where our youngest son was married. We are from Atlanta, but have always enjoyed the Low Country of the Carolinas and Georgia.
