  When we found this gorgeous Amelia Island Plantation home on VRBO, we knew by the pictures that it would be perfect for our family during our son`s wedding week. The homeowners were very helpful prior to our arrival, answering our many questions and providing detailed information about the home and the Plantation so we could plan what we needed to bring and feel at home prior to our arrival. Upon arrival, we knew we had made THE best decision as this home was PERFECT for our family. The home is meticulously maintained and immaculately clean. As we have operated a Bed & Breakfast for eight years we know how important this is to guests. This home is decorated with distinct style and wonderful taste with beautiful yet comfortable furniture and many items from around the world giving it a very elegant look and feel. The pictures provided on VRBO are great however they do not do this home actual justice. The home is far more beautiful in person! From the moment we walked inside we were amazed and SO very happy. We thoroughly enjoyed the open air concept of the living room, dining area and kitchen as well as the first floor screened-in porch just off the dining area where we enjoyed many meals. Each of the 4 bedrooms is spacious and beautifully decorated as are the three full bathrooms, particularly the master bathroom which has it`s own lovely balcony. The 2nd floor washer and dryer was a real bonus too. Being only one block from the beach enabled us to walk our six miles along the beach every day, then relax by the Little Dunes pool prior to our evening family gatherings. We also enjoyed some tennis on the Little Dunes courts. Since our son and his wedding party, and other family were all staying on the Amelia Island Plantation, the location of our home was ideal. We would be proud and very happy to highly recommend this home to anyone. We thoroughly enjoyed our week at this home and were very sad when it was time for us to start our three day drive home to Kingston. The Falcon`s Nest restaurant and bar just off the plantation was a great place for everyone involved in the wedding to gather and it was great having the Harris Teeter grocery store only a short 15 minute drive from us. We could continue to rave over this home, as we have so many wonderful memories. To know how spectacular this home really is, you must go there to experience it for yourself. We thoroughly look forward to returning to stay at this home again soon.

  My husband and I enjoyed this home for one month, and loved it. Our daughters and their children joined us, and we all agreed it is not only beautiful, but extremely comfortable. The furnishings are all of the finest quality, which is not the norm in rental property. The home was very clean and well-maintained, and when we did have a toilet that needed attention, the owner made sure a plumber took care of the problem that same day. Our days consisted of enjoying the heated pool and beach, which are both a few steps away. The only problems we encountered concerned the lack of an amenity card. This card allows you to rent bikes from the plantation, but there are other places for renting these, so this is not really an obstacle. Marche Burette is a great find, too. We would love to return next year and highly recommend this property to others.

  My family rented this home a week during June. It is awesome!!! Hope we can return next year. It exceeded our expectations. It will be hard to find another place if this one is not available.

  We stayed at this beautiful home when we visited Amelia Island for our son's wedding. It is immaculate, extremely well-organized and fully stocked with everything our family could have needed or wanted. The description is totally accurate and honest, but the location is even better than described. The pool is shaded and quiet. The beach is fantastic and never crowded...you can often have it almost all to yourself! We had many friends and relatives staying on The Plantation in various houses, villas, and condos for the wedding, so we saw many other properties. While they all were nice, this house far surpassed any that we saw in cleanliness, decor and ease of access to the pool and beach. The owner is outstanding and made communication easy throughout the entire process. We hope we are fortunate enough to visit Amelia Island again and stay in this wonderful home.

  We recently visited this home while in Amelia Island for the Amelia Island Concours. The accommodations could not have been more perfect and the owner made everything so easy! The house is beautiful, SUPER clean and convenient. This owner knows how to treat guests and makes everything very simple, just drive down and check in! We will definitely be back next year!   My wife and I have utilized this property on two different occasions so far. It is immaculately kept and appointed. The furnishings and amenities are top of the line. It is such a beautiful relaxing home and a very comfortable place to stay. The location is nothing short of gorgeous, only a two minute walk to the beach, situated right on the golf course, it is a perfect getaway. You will not regret renting this home.
