  Our experience here was seamless - from arriving at the gate to getting the keys. When we opened the door, the place felt like home; comfortable and relaxing. The decorating and paint colors add to the ambiance. The pool and spa were 20 steps from the patio with a second one just across the street. Perfect. We found several nice restaurants 5 minutes away - Mamma Gina for Italian (on the bar side) for great happy hour deals, and Armando's on El Paseo for the best margaritas! We will most certainly book here again.

  We frequently visit the desert and have for years. This was, by far, our favorite place to stay. The home was located in a gated luxury community high above the desert floor, with views of the surrounding mountains and lush landscaping. The home was beautifully decorated and maintained. It was even better than the pictures, and we had everything we could have wanted. We loved the home theater system with 60" TV, Blu-ray DVD and wireless connections. The pool and hot tub were just steps from our patio, and we were the only ones to use them for the 11 days we were there. The club was close to everything - shopping, dining, the Living Desert, art museums. Our host Carlos was extremely accommodating, responsive and gracious; reservations were very easy. We can't wait to go back and will definitely recommend this home to friends.

  I recently returned from my visit to God's Country {Palm Desert} after renting this unit for our stay. From the very begining, Carlos was prompt, courteous, informative and very easy to work with. I had a pretty good sense for what the unit would be like based upon the photos and we got exactly what we bargained for and then some. The unit was spotlessly clean and had very comfortable furnishings and appointments that made things all the more pleasant/easy for us such as an instant hot water/coffee maker, ironing board & iron, his & hers bicycles etc. etc. The guard gate staff and security patrol were super pleasant to us and all the neighbors we met at the pool, or sitting on the patio, treated us like we were close, long time friends! Ironwood is easily the best located and most picturesque complex in the desert. Its setting IN the mountains {as opposed to being on the desert floor and looking at them} makes all the difference in terms of the "vibe", atmosphere and views. I have been going to the dersert approximately 6 times per year for the past 26 years {PGA West, Citrus etc. etc} and generally I have a great time every visit with the great golf, good food and all the sun & heat we could hope for, but being able to rent this unit, in this project, guarantees that you will feel like you are "living large"!

  We have rented many properties in Palm Desert and Palm Springs and this one is our favorite so far! Very comfortable, spacious, private, quiet and well equipped. It is lovely but not real fancy. The photos did not due it justice but the description was accurate in all accounts. The unit was clean and very well taken care of. The owner took it upon himself to communicate with us during the application and reservation process as well as during our stay. We look forward to renting this unit again and will be highly recommended it to our friends. The grapefruits on the tree just outside the dining room were a real treat!!!

  This property was an excellent choice for a comfortable relaxing stay. The pool was thirty feet away from the back patio and the condo had wonderful accommodations which made the stay more like being at home. Carlos, the owner, was a wonderful host and made sure everything was up to our standards. Best Jorge

  We went to Palm Desert for a little R & R and decided to rent this home instead of booking a hotel. Upon entering the home we were ecstatic to see that the house was spotless and well kept. The sofas and the bed were very comfortable and the attention to detail was pretty impressive. We had a wonderful time bike riding, visiting the Living Desert Museum, and relaxing. I will definately be back.

  Pictures do not do justice to this beautifully decorated condo. Wished we had rented for the entire month of March instead of just two weeks. Carlos is very attentive to every detail to make this rental perfect in every way.Loved walking around Ironwood and enjoying the beautiful grounds and flowers. Delicious grapefruit from the tree near the patio is an added bonus and lots of privacy with the large backyard. We found it well located for playing tennis at the civic center park and attending the Indian Wells tennis matches. Discount Golf reservations can be made thru Stand-by Golf.

  We rented the condo and were absolutely delighted in every way possible. It is beautifully furnished and decorated. The master bedroom has high ceilings and there is a large vaulted ceiling in the living room. It has luxurious bedding, linens and towels. It is impeccable and spotless. We didn't do a lot of cooking, but the kitchen is thoroughly stocked with everything you might need. The living room has a large screen television and DVD player with universal remote as well as TVs in both bedrooms. There is a luxurious leather sofa and love seat that have recliner seats built in. I don't have a recliner at home, but it adjusts to several positions and we really enjoyed it. The owners provided tea and coffee and array of bathroom products. The swimming pool and hot tub are only steps away from the condo and they are shared with only eight units. We enjoy swimming, and were there every day and never saw another guest. If you need shade, there is a larger pool and hot tub just across the street with a large covered patio. We went there often, as that pool was larger and better for swimming laps, and there were usually a handful of guests at peak times. There are two bicycles in the garage and they were perfect for taking rides around the neighborhood. Our hosts, Carlos and Pat are just terrific and they will do everything possible to make sure you have a great vacation. A word about Ironwood-if you have never been there, you are in for a real treat. I have rented in Monterey Country Club and Rancho Las Palmas in the past. To be sure, these are beautiful properties. However, Ironwood is not located on the flat valley floor, but 500 feet above the valley on the gently sloping hills towards the mountains. The close up mountain views are all around you and they are spectacular. But more importantly, there is a varied terrain that makes walking or bicycling in the area much more interesting. The condos and homes are often on different levels with large sloping grass areas. We started each morning with a walk and there are lots of different places to walk. You can walk around relatively flat areas or walk up some gently sloping hills. Ironwood is a huge country club with two golf courses and your walks will take you past many beautiful fairways. Ironwood is a mixed community of units that range from one bedroom condos to individual homes costing $10 million and more, and we enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and looking at these beautifully la
