  A group of us eight gals have been calling this house "home" for one week every July, and it truly is, a home away from home.. I count the days until we return each year.. and so should you! The layout is amazing..the entire top floor of the home is a big bright beautiful wide open "tree top" gathering room. It is filled with windows on the front side which overlook the harbor and beautiful sunrises! The interior of the room is split by the staircase. One side has a huge sectional sofa, ottoman, chairs and flat screen TV.. perfect for evening board game competitions (Sequence) or catching the Yankee / Red Sox scores.. The other side of the room has a queen size bed and when not in use, doubles as a luxurious napping area. Not only is it a pleasant room to lounge in, but decorated comfortably and immaculate. Big french doors at the back of the room open onto a huge deck outfitted with "all weather" couches (comfy for reading & cocktail hour) and a patio table for al fresco dining or crafts. The view on the backside of the home is just as pretty as the homeowners take great care in maintaining their lush hillside gardens. The main floor has a living room, kitchen, & dinning room. The flow is open, airy and all rooms connect to create a separate but together environment. The kitchen is outfitted with every utensil or gadget one might need at a beach house, and everything is put to good use during the week. The dinning room also has french doors that lead out onto a meandering brick patio and large gas grill. The dinning table fits us all plus extra dinner guests quite comfortably. Also on the main floor are two good sized nicely decorated, clean, neat & comfortable bedrooms and updated full bath. The ground level has an inviting "away from it all" private bedroom and full bath as well. I obviously cant say enough about the home and vacation we experience each year.. Oh wait, yes I can! Homeowner Carl is a pleasure to deal with, so accommodating, quick to respond to questions and to see that our every need is addressed. Beyond all of the above, the really inviting feature of the homes layout (beyond its comforts & appointments) is that the eight of us are able to all be together or easily find separate space, enjoying a quiet moment reading, painting, napping, or stretching after a run along the water. Ps.. Don't take MY week! : )

  This summer marked the 5th year that we stayed at this property and as long as the property is available for rent - we will keep coming back every year. There are 8 of us (4 couples) who come to Provincetown every July and rent this property. The first thing you should know about this property is how spacious it is. Even though there are 8 of us living together for the week, we never feel like we are on top of each other because there are so many places to just be. We spend time in the living room on the main floor of the house, the "great room" which comprises the entire top floor of the house (amazing room that is surrounded by windows with fantastic views), the deck on the top floor of the house, the patio on the main floor of the house, or any of the comfortable bedrooms. It also has a large dining room that easily accommodates the 8 of us when we choose to eat in (plus several other friends who have joined us over the years). While we spend plenty of time at the beach, in town and on the golf course, the house is a wonderful place to gather with friends and we enjoy every minute we spend there. The next thing you should know about this propery is how well-maintained it is - from the beautiful gardens to every inch of the interior. Each year that we have stayed at this property, the owner has made some improvement to an already incredible property, e.g., renovations to the basement apartment and kitchen, painting all of the bedrooms, new linens and towels, etc. And the property has every convenience you could possibly want: WiFi, TVs in every bedroom and a large screen TV in the great room, fully-stocked kitchen, beach accessories, ports for ipods, etc. You truly want for nothing and if you every have any issue, the owner is just a phone call away. A truly nice guy. Although there are many other positive attributes to this property, I'll just mention 3 more: location, parking and storage. The house is conveniently located to everything - town, the beach, and the grocery store. Parking is not an issue. The driveway fits 4 full-size cars (we come with SUVs), and there is plenty of storage room in the garage for golf clubs, bikes, beach chairs, etc. This is an amazing property with a great owner and we highly recommend it to anyone. You'll never want to stay anywhere else!

  I Love it! It is comfortable for all and never feels crowded. Lots of room for everyone! It's a great spacious open place to stay. For a few year now, we've fill up the place with 8 adults. Each year we stay, we find the owner has upgraded or provided new features in this beautiful home. The upper deck is large with comfortable patio furniture to relax after a long stay at the beach. The top floor is large and open with wonderful breezes flowing through and it has a great view of the water. The Kitchen is amazing. It has everything you'd ever need. It feels like my home away from home while vacationing. It's the perfect distance from town. Provides the quiet privacy you'd like and walking distance to all the wonderful shops and restaurants. The owner always make us feel right at home. I can't imagine staying anywhere else in P-Town. Can't wait to stay there again.

  We just spent a week here and completely LOVED it! It is very modern and clean on the inside, perfectly manicured gardens outside! The top floor has a large open room with a huge sectional and large open loft feel. This opens to a huge deck with tons of seating and gorgeous views. The owner made us feel right at home and helped with choices in dining and any questions we had. It is a great location close to Commercial Street, but still quiet and removed. Wonderful place for a family reunion!

  This property is awesome!!! Plenty of room for everyone. Beautiful outdoor areas. We especially enjoyed the upper deck with a view of the bay. The kitchen was well stocked. The living areas are very comfortable and spacious. The location was perfect. Easy walk to commercial street and great restaurants and shops. The owner was great to work with, answered all questions and supplied everything we needed to make our vacation wonderful !!! We would highly recommend this property. Can't wait to stay there again.

  This is a fabulous home in a prime Ptown location. We rented it for a week and used the home to hold 3 events for a destination wedding: welcome reception, wedding reception, and Sunday brunch. It easily accomodated 50 people for each event. The event space is beautifully decorated and overlooks the bay. The attached outdoor deck has elegant and comfortable furnishings, and the surrounding gardens provide a relaxed and welcoming environment. The main floor has a gorgeous newly remodelled kitchen and eclectic furnishings in the various rooms.The caterer enjoyed and utilized the space to a maximum, even using the outdoor gas grill for Saturday evening's reception dinner. We then used the home for the remainder of the week for vacation. It was very tranquil after all the guests had left. This home has everything and more anyone would desire if they want to entertain or vacation. The location is convenient to downtown and other places around Ptown, and was very convenient for guests! We would enthusiastically recommend this to family and friends. And our guests were very impressed in how we used the space to provide very comfortable surroundings for our events! Additionally, the owner was extremely accomodating and absolutely fantastic to work with. We found this to be especially true after looking at a number of other other venues (homes) to rent for the same purpose. A sure bet!!!

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.
