Located on a secluded, wooded peninsula on Portage Lake and Lake Michigan. Navigable channel connects the two lakes 1/3 mi. from condo. Sliding glass patio door to beach looking east three miles across Portage Lake enables you to watch beautiful sunrises from the comfort of your condo. or patio. Three hundred yard walk to the west onto 10 miles of uninterrupted, mostly uninhabited, beautiful sand beaches on Lake Michigan. Play offshore in the crystal clear waters with gradually sloping sand bottom. Watch the sunset and build a campfire to roast hot dogs and marshmallows. This location lends itself to all sorts of outdoor activities. Biking, walking, and jogging. Boating, water skiing, fishing, jet skiing, and sailing. Canoeing and tubing local rivers. Fishing Portage Lake for all the fresh water game fish. Charter fishing available for Salmon and Trout on the big lake and world class local Trout and Salmon streams. Our condo is on Portage Lake and Lake Michigan is one block away. We have access to both beautiful lakes. Our family cherishes all the time we have at Portage.
