Our house on Harthan Street is a delightful mix of beauty, comfort, and location. In 2010, Harthan Street became Austin's first local historic district. It is a charming, picturesque street with only 10 homes.
From the outside, you'll notice our large front porch, the small tended gardens and landscaping, and the tinkling of the stone water fountains. The house itself is a beautiful Craftsman home built in the 1920s that's been restored and is kept in excellent shape.
It has polished wooden floors, high-ceilings, a quaint fireplace, and lots of warm, natural light that shines through the many large windows. It is a beautiful, well-kept, comfortable and cozy home perfectly nestled steps away from the best that Austin has to offer.
We walk everywhere - to hike and bike, buy groceries, shop, have coffee, dine and dance - but we also have quick driving access (2-10 minutes) to the major highways (MoPac and I-35). It's a perfect downtown location in Old West Austin. In 2007, the APA voted Old West Austin as one of the 10 Greatest Neighborhoods in America!
