Come and enjoy a relaxing vacation by the sea at 17 Lagoon Villa in the fantastic resort of Wild Dunes on the Isle of Palms. This condominium has been recently remodeled and is ready for you to enjoy. The furnishings are sleek and modern yet comfortable. The great room contains a full couch (with sleeper sofa) and a few chairs. Relax and watch your flat screen TV or check your email using our FREE WI-FI. There is also a formal eating space with an elegant round table. It provides enough room to seat 6 for the evenings you may want to dine in. Speaking of dining, you will love the full kitchen. It contains every pot, pan and serving tray needed to please everyone from the “professional microwaver” to the professional chef.
Bedroom Description: Each bedroom contains 2 beautifully adorned queen-sized beds. The bedrooms each have their own full bath and balcony. Sleep in. Then, wake up to see nature right outside your door. From both balconies, you can keep an eye out for our lovely state bird, the Carolina Wren, or watch the heron fish for their breakfast in the lagoon.
Wild Dunes and Charleston Activities: Lagoon Villas is only a short walk (0.3 miles) to the beach and an even shorter walk to the POOL that is provided exclusively for guests of Lagoon Villas. If you get tired of the beach, Wild Dunes is full of activities for the sport enthusiast or the whole family. Play tennis, golf or take your family on a bike ride around the entire resort. Not far from your vacation home is charming Historic Downtown Charleston. Take in a horse-drawn carriage tour of the Holy City or feast in our renowned restaurants like Magnolias, High Cotton, or SNOB (Slightly North of Broad, of course.) We stayed at the Lagoon Villas at the end of October and had the best time. This villa was peaceful and perfect.It was very clean and felt like home. We will definitely try to stay here again.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This condo worked for my family of 4 for a weekend stay. It was a short 5-10 minute walk to the beach that even my 3-year old didn't have trouble with. The pool is also close. There is a lagoon right out back, so no amazing views, but we did see the alligator, which was a hit with the kids. The beds were comfortable and the towels were fluffy. We found the kitchen well equipped. There is some deferred maintenance, which I hope the owner addresses soon. The sliding doors needed attention and the windows were taped shut with a note not to open them, as they didn't close.Owner response: Thanks for the feedback. We plan to replace the sliding doors this winter.

We were down for a week so our kids could train at the Family circle tennis center in nearby Daniel Island. The condo was well kept, fully furnished and completely updated. Kitchen had all the utensils a family could need to eat in. The beaches and surrounding are are great! We would gladly stay in this condo any time we are down there.Did you find this review helpful? Our week's vacation at your condo was WONDERFUL! My daugher and I found the arrangement of the two bedrooms on the opposite sides of the living area to be the perfect design for our needs: she could sleep in or stay up later working on projects or using social media while I could talk on my phone or watch television, each without disturbing the other. The large table in the dining area was perfect for playing Settlers of Catan, Go Fish, and Old Maids in the evening when family members living in the area came over. The kitchen was so well-equiped that we had the option of cooking meals when we wanted to stay inside. During the beautiful sunny days, we not only had the beach but the beautiful pool to enjoy. With three televisions in the condo, tennis courts, golf course, and great restaurants along with historical and shopping areas nearby, we never wanted for something to do. The location of the condo was perfect. It was walking distance from the beach and all other fun activities at the resort. The property was nicely decorated and clean. I loved staying there. We were a family of 4 and we couldn't have slept any better! I loved it! I definitely would recommend it to friends and family. We discovered Luke n Ollies pizzeria. Wow! Very good pizza and located right next to a Ben & Jerry's. Perfect for a family with young kids. The island also offers a variety of activities. Our kids did the half day Marine Biology camp with the Barrier Island Eco Tours. My husband went on a fishing tour with them as well. This was a great vacation. Our vacation at 17 Lagoon Villa was a wonderful way to celebrate our anniversary! We sunned and read by the ocean, walked on the beach, and viewed a starfish, sand dollars, and minnows. The condo kitchen had everything we needed so that we could fix our own breakfast of fruit and cereal and have a quick lunch of salad and sandwiches. Each night we enjoyed going out for dinner in Mt. Pleasant, West Ashley, and the Isle of Palms. Getting to see our sons, daughters-in-law, and grandchildren who live in the Charleston area was icing on the cake!Did you find this review helpful? About the owner: My name is Mikki Ramey and I live with my family in beautiful Charleston, SC. We love staying in our Wild Dunes condo and know you will enjoy it, too. I pride myself in showing southern hospitality and I hope that you will see this if you stay in our little villa in paradise. I own a real estate company called Healthy Realty and am a former Charleston county school teacher. Please don't hesitate to ask me any questions about Wild Dunes or Charleston. I love helping people plan their vacation at Wild Dunes and tell them about restaurants that the locals love. It has always been our family's dream to own a great little beach home. We love Charleston so much that, not only do we live here, but we love to vacation here as well. Even if it's only a 15-minute drive from my home, I always feel a sense of peace and relaxation seeing the ocean and driving into Wild Dunes. We also love playing tennis and golf and going fishing while on the island. The resort also offers some of our favorite restaurants.
