Quiet and peaceful is the best description for this comfortable cottage situated on Long Pond. Sit on the deck that faces the water to watch the breathtaking sunsets! The song of the loon is prevalent here. Very quiet and serene. Great swimming. Sandy beach for young ones. Approximately 868 sq. ft. of living space on the main level alone. Second story has two bedrooms and comes furnished with four single size beds. King size bed and air conditioning in master bedroom. Queen size futon bed in spare room. Great for the kids upstairs.
Two kayaks and floatation devices available. Large and small mouth bass fishing is plentiful in this beautiful lake. Low boat traffic in the summer. Great for swimming. Wildlife consists of loons, deer, wild turkey and more. Fire pit set-up lakeside. Brand new dock with ladder system. This cottage has all the conveniences needed in the kitchen and completely furnished.
Two bedrooms are located on the main level. The master bedroom is equipped with a king size bed, air conditioning, and a beautiful picture window that faces the water and sunsets. There exists another private room equipped with a queen size futon. A full bathroom is located on the main level with some handicap features. Washer and dryer set up for the renter's convenience. Upstairs has two bedrooms with closets. Each bedroom is furnished with two single size beds in each room with an air mattress for added convenience. All bedrooms have bureaus.
All hardwood laminate flooring on the main level. No carpets downstairs. Kitchen is fully equipped with some spices. Large pantry to the side for added space.
No smoking FIRM. Pets OKAY. No cable or satellite. Equipped with DVD player and TV. Games and books available. No phone service but cell phone friendly. E-mail us for more info regarding the reservation process and any other information you may need.

I use this property often for weekend trips when I just need to get away, or for family get togethers during the summer. This cabin is set on a very quiet dirt road, with an amazing view of the lake. Stargazing is top notch from the dock! The property is equipped with everything you need for your trip including watersports, grilling supplies, picnicing, etc. Inside the cabin is clean, cozy, and sleeps many if needed! The view from the master bedroom of the lake can't be beat.Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Comfortable cottage just feet away from beautiful lake, where you can swim, kayak, and fish all day. There are a couple of kayaks in the shed that can be used, or fish right from the dock and catch large and small-mouth bass all day long. Wake up to the wonderful sound of the loons calling to each other. And maybe even catch a glimpse of n eagle or two. Go for a short road trip to nearby coastal Rockland or Camden, for a day of shopping and dining, only about 40 minutes away. Or go visit the state capital Augusta for the day, only 20 minutes. And just 5 miles down the road is one of the best general stores you'll find, Hussey's! You will find anything and everything you will need for your stay, they have Wedding Gowns, Shot Guns, and Cold Beer!! Also close by are many nature and hiking trails for those who love the outdoors and want to do a little more physical activities. My boyfriend and I have gone up to this cottage for over 4 years in a row, and we will continue to go back every summer. A very relaxing, quiet cottage for a great vacation away. We would definitely recommend this property to friends or relatives.Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

Our family had a great time at this cabin on Long Pond. Very clean and comfortable. Plenty of sleeping space and well equipped kitchen. Beautiful views of lake. Loved hearing the loons and having access to kayaks. Great location for day trip to Camden, Rockport and other coastal cities. Great fishing & kayaking, Definitely recommend for family, group, or couples get away.Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My husband, Scott, helps with all our property needs. We've been a couple for 36 years, married for 28 and love the Kennebec and Lincoln areas and all it offers in the summer.
