Picture yourself having your morning coffee on the front covered wrap-around deck, reading the local newspaper or just listening to the sounds of Vermont's nature. You'll be watching the bird's land on our pond, or the Hot Air Balloons rise over the nearby river with the majestic Vermont mountains in the background. This is especially beautiful during our Fall Foliage season.
Our country farmhouse is on 8 acres with two picturesque red barns on the property. It is the perfect location for a family gathering -- for touring New England, playing golf or tennis at the Quechee Club (100 yards away), skiing at our small Quechee ski hill or at Killington ski hill (30 minutes away). With our sport court (basketball, shuffle board, paddle tennis, badminton) next to our garage, and rec room with pool table and table tennis, there is plenty to keep you busy -- without even leaving the house.

This property is absolutely beautiful and our stay was wonderful. The house easily fit the 9 of us with room to spare. It had all the amenities of home – washer, dryer, internet, barbeque, and fully equipped kitchen, plus numerous recreational pluses – pool table, bumper pool, air hockey, darts, basketball/tennis court, hot tub and the like. There was plenty to do for every age group of our clan without ever leaving the house – from my 3 year old granddaughter, to our teenagers, young adults and my husband and I. There are also spectacular views of the lake from the huge wrap-around porch (wonderful for just relaxing and reading), and the house is minutes away from the clubhouse for those who want to partake in the pool, golf course and other facilities. The house was perfect for our family vacation; it was large enough that we weren’t constantly running over each other, but homey and cozy enough to spend some intimate family time and gather around the table or on the back deck for dinner each night. As someone who is a professed ‘clean freak’, I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the house and property. The owner was very easy to work with and the rental experience was flawless. I highly recommend this property to anyone. I know our family will definitely return next year.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

After a 2-day gruelling road trip, we pulled into the driveway of our rental home for the long weekend, and I started saying, OMG, OMG, OMG as we continued pulling up the drive. The pictures do not do justice for this charming updated farmhouse! This house is perfect for a big family gathering! The huge, valuted, open, updated kitchen is equipped with everything you need, with a huge kitchen table. The formal dining room and other seating are perfect for big families and for entertaining. Sitting on the huge, wrap around porch and deck with a outdoor grill, and tons of seating, with a hot tub, was just fabulous!!! The sport/basketball court was an extra bonus for the kids and teenagers in our group. The bedrooms are generous in size, with both a main floor master bedroom, and an upper level master bedroom, the bunkroom is adorable, and there are enough bathrooms/showers throughout the home that no one ever had to wait for one! The bumper pool table, real pool table, air hockey, tv, darts, dvd, stereo and more was enough to keep you entertained for days! The family room with the huge fireplace was just gorgeous! Warm, inviting and cozy but roomy! It was meticulously clean, and the towels and sheets are generous! Having a laundry room with a washer and dryer was a bonus too! Although we didn't bring any pets, the fenced in backyard for pets is perfect! Located practically across the street from the Quechee club, the location was perfect for our family gathering! I can't say enough good things about this home, and I hope you seriously check it out! The owner is very hospitable and the arrangements were made smoothly and just perfectly! The views from the front porch are indescribable and we loved every minute we spent there! We definitely will be back to enjoy this house again!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

$500 a night or $3,000 for a week (7 nights). Holidays: $600/nt or $4,000/week $600 a night, if renting for only 3 or 4 nights (3 night minimum!) Inquire about Monthly and/or Seasonal rates $100 cleaning fee for pets. Daily/weekly fees for Quechee Club facilities, if needed, paid directly to Club. NO additional/hidden fees.
