  First of all, the photos on the website DO NOT capture the beauty of the setting, the beautiful home and the abundance of peace that this makes this vacation rental so special!! It was more than I had imagined it to be and I have been using VRBO for 12 years. The home is immaculate and provides everything you would expect. The owner was very responsive and a pleasure to work with. My sister needed this weekend to 'heal' since her husband's death and this was the perfect place for that. We both left feeling refreshed and renewed. Thanks Patricia!

• Perfect New Years

  Great town home: very clean and well stocked. Location was convenient to restaurants, services, supermarket, etc. It snowed a bunch and the home is about a 40 min drive to Sunrise. We got lucky and had some awesome skiing and snowboarding powder days throughout the week. After a day on the slopes, we loved coming "home" to this place. We could not have asked for a better New Years holiday. The owners were very responsive, and making arrangements/payments could not have been easier. This rental is highly recommended.

  My husband, myself, son (11 yrs) and my mom and dad spend a week at this condo on Rainbow Lake. It was a fabulous vacation. We greatly enjoyed the lake and condo. The boys all three fished and caught trout and sunfish. We purchased a little six foot kayak for my son to tour the lake with. Because there was minimal boat traffic and no seadoos, we felt comfortable letting him venture out on his own in the kayak. The condo was very comfortable for all of us. There was plenty of room and after purchasing groceries at the Walmart, we could eat in or try the local cuisine, which we did a little of both. The washer/dryer was handy for all of the "fishy" clothes. My mom and I enjoyed all of the local shops and restaurants. The condo was very conveniently located and being able to step right out the door to the lake was fabulous. The condo needs a few minor repairs (porch door, screens on some windows), but this did not interfere with our stay in any way. We definitely would recommend this rental and plan to return ourselves.

  Our family (me, husband, 9-year-old daughter) had a great time at your property! The directions were so clear & Bob was a pleasure to work with. We LOVED cooking on the grill each night, sitting on the deck reading for hours, hiking on some of the great trails, watching the daily thunderstorms roll in, and taking many strolls around the gorgeous community. Thank you for everything! We hope to return!

  This rental is in a beautiful location in Northeastern AZ sitting on the lake with a wonderful sunset view to have dinner or just have a drink of your choice. It was cool to watch the bald eagles come in for supper and the ospry were pretty active to. We had one afternoon/evening thunderstorm that was awesome to watch. The property was immaculate and is fully furnished with everthing you need: Cooking utensils, seasonings, coffee makers washer and dryer for your kids. Bob (the co-owner) was extremely helpful in all of our accomodations, maps to the place, maps to resteraunts etc.... He is well organized and very pleasant to do business with. I did most of my fishing on the indian reservation, the fishing was good but the catching was slow. But we had a great time anyway. Some of the hiking trails nearby were awesome I did the the flume trail and also the panorama trail both were great hikes marked well and some great views. I would certainly recommend this rental to anyone. Thanks to Bob for being so helpful.

  A superb setting on the lake with abundant wildlife...and very quiet. The inside of the unit is superb, the cabinets and kitchen way above average. Lots of cookware for foodies (like me). The master BR on the 2nd floor has an excellent alcove for wanabe painters like me to set up a studio. There are some relatively minor issues, however that need to be addressed to make this unit perfect. Several windows are missing screens, the upstairs patio carpet is in need of repair and the screen door to the patio is broken. I had to wash the the windows and remove cobwebs (I am a fuss budget). Last, the gazebo is in need of cleaning...it is neglected. It was very warm when we were there for two weeks in Sept so we used the gazebo daily. All this said, this place is special and hope the minor items are fixed before we return...and we will. I can imagine the fall colors on the lake will be spectabular. By all means....take advantage of this place. We hope the owners will correct the defects listed. It was a perfect place for us to spend our 50th anniv.

  My wife and I and her daugter and son in-law came up to the townhouse for some needed relaxation and some fishing, well everything in the ad was true, the townhouse, area, lake, just everything was as beautiful as it was described I don't think we could have asked for anything better. We all had a wonderful time the fishing was really good too. It's been a long time since we have all had such a good time. We will definatly be returning as soon as we can .

  We wanted a beautiful place to celebrate the 12th birthday of our son and that's exactly what we got! The first and last thing we saw out of the window was eagles! At one point, eight Bald Eagles were patrolling the lake. Our son has autism and LOVES wildlife and was very very excited at the abundance of ducks, geese, eagles, muskrat, beaver, and even one swan! That alone was worth the rental cost, which is very reasonable to begin with. The unit was beautiful and updated inside. The master bedroom and bath were perfect, and our son decided to stay on the futon in the loft area and was very happy there. There were two decks overlooking the lake, one at the back door and another from the master bedroom, both of which were perfect for relaxing while scanning the lake almost at your feet. The community is gated and very quiet, which was just perfect for us. Sunsets over the lake, the moon with Venus and Jupiter reflecting off the water, the sound of the waves lapping against the shore... What else could you ask for? Loved it.

  Our kids wanted a white Christmas (we are from Tucson). They sure got it. It was absolutely beautiful. We were lucky to see bald eagles every morning and afternoon. We sledded behind the Pizza Hut. We even grilled our lobster tails and steak for Christmas Eve. The sunsets are perfect. What a wonderful place to relax and enjoy your family. Our dog also enjoyed this place. Nice places to walk, even in the snow. Quiet area. The owners are very responsive and answered all my questions and if they couldnt answer them they directed me to who someone who could. Would recommend this place to anybody and everybody.

  This is a perfect place to enjoy your special someone. The property is clean and quite, the views are endless. We even saw 2 bald eagles from the upper deck; what a treat. The restaurant recommendations from the owner were great! We look forward to a future visit.
