Originally used as the model for The Villas at Coast Cottages, Live Oak is now available for rent to caring families who appreciate only the finest accomodations.
The decor is exquisite with warm earth tones, dozens of custom made interior treatments and many antiques. With four bedrooms, four and one half baths, and two separate living areas, Live Oak Villa is the perfect place for family gatherings. There's a spacious and open living/dining/kitchen floor where everyone can be together, as well as thoughtfully planned areas for quiet escape. The separate family room is a great place for the kids gather and watch movies or play board games.
Porches on every level capture soft ocean breezes. A rooftop deck lets you savor spectacular ocean sunrises in the morning and experience gorgeous marsh sunsets in the evening. Each bedroom pampers you with your own private bath, and the master suite is nothing short of spectacular! And the office has a daybed with trundle where you can sleep two more!
The home has its own courtyard spa and has direct access to Coast Cottages' two community pools, covered pavilion, and direct access to one of the Atlantic Ocean's finest beaches. From Live Oak Villa you can walk the beach at low tide, high tide ... any tide! (Note: vacation rentals south of Arnold Road cannot make this claim.)

- Sand bar hiking and skim boarding are popular activities along our fantastic stretch of beach. Be careful if you're renting further south ... the beach is under water half the time due to the tide. But the beach is always accessible in front of Live Oak Villa.

We just spent 4 nights at Live Oak. The house is really nicer and larger than it appears in the pictures- the decorator details are everywhere! It was a short and easy walk to a great beach - never crowded, plenty of beach at high tide. The house has everything you could want - chairs, towels, etc. We loved that there are 2 living spaces - the kids had their own place to hangout! Patrick was easy to work with!! We would rent from him again!
Recommended for:Girls getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Very comfortable and well furnished. Loved the balconies and the floor plan. . We had all the comforts of home. Beach and pools were very nice. Would have liked to had maid service a couple time a week. This is a very nice home . We enjoyed our stay.

Live Oak Villa is truly an amazing vacation experience! It is one of the most beautiful beach properties we have ever had the opportunity to visit and we hope to go back! The decor is perfect..a great mix of antiques and comfortable furniture, beautifully done! The master suite is on the top level and is so quiet and comfortable. The kitchen is wonderfully appointed, large and open so that the whole group can gather and partake in meal prep. The guest rooms are spacious and lovely, each with it's own private bath and the little den on the guest room level is a great retreat for quiet conversations or board games. The porches look out over the quiet street and are up in the trees and are a great place to have cocktails or a lazy brunch! Loved the rooftop for sunning ..! It's a short walk down the street to the beach but the house was so wonderful and relaxing we hated to leave it, sometimes! Was great fun going into the village of St. Simon's to eat, shop and explore and then coming back to this gorgeous house to relax and enjoy. The outdoor covered spa was HUGE and so much fun after a long day of 'vacationing'! Can't say enough good things, you will LOVE this house!
