McGregor lodge description
Camp New Hope is located on 40 beautiful acres overlooking Glacier Lake where serenity and relaxation are never far away. With a true “up-north” feeling, Camp New Hope is a perfect place for retreats, overnight workshops, conferences or seminars. Whether your group is looking for modern convenience or rustic camping, we have it all and we’re only about two hours from the Twin Cities metro area.
With three large cabins, each with their own kitchen, you will enjoy the peace and tranquility of the north woods. In the summer, our swimming area is available for you and your group, plus you also can use our canoes, kayaks or paddleboats to get a better view of Glacier Lake. If you like, you can rent a pontoon or bring your own small boat and try you hand at fishing on Glacier Lake.
In the winter, we offer many different activites, such as broomball, snowshoeing and an amazing tubing hill. We are also located near miles of snowmoble trails, so bring your sleds and enjoy. On the lake we offer an ice skating rink, ice bocce and of course you can bring your ice fishing gear and try to find the hot spots.
Regardless of the time of year, there are always many activities to find here at Camp New Hope or in the surrounding area. We hope to see you soon.

Our family (18-25 people) have stayed at resorts from Alex to Grand Rapids we've stayed in cabins that are tilted, no beach, had mice on the countertops...This place was nothing like that. The cabins were clean and well maintained, the lake is private and VERY well stocked. The lodge had games for the kids and trails to explore. We WILL be coming back this fall and hopefully this winter to check out all of the snowshoe, ski and snowmobile trails. Week day rates are best in the state and SOOOO worth it! If you don't at least check it out ...your an idiot!
