  WOW , it just doesn't get any better.Every thing is in place and nothing goes for want. Public transpotation was abundant and easy to use. The location is great and near any and everything ...Furniture,furnishings,and the viiew are outstanding .Would recommend to every one i knowThe entire pleasant rental was enhanced by the owner .She did evrything to insure our stay was outstanding

  Rather than say everthing was perfect and we can hardly wait to come back...  we decided to be more straight forward:   Everthing has been perfect. Your decor is stunning and all the kitchen gadgets were great, bandaids and flower vases were appreciated and used. You thought of everything.   The washer & dryer were great. The apartment's location and balcony are fabulous. We enjoyed the wine,coffee and fruit you had waiting for us. The apartment was perfectly placed to insure a wonderful user friendly trip. Walk less than two blocks and you are at the grocery store or street car stop.   With the over 65 (age) plan, $26.00 a month insures that you can smoothly and safely move from place to place almost any where in Portland. (The Rose Garden, The Japanese Garden, The Zoo, The Waterfront, Saturday and Farmer's Markets, Museums and Art Galleries.)   The bus and street car stops are almost as comfortable as the vehicles themselves which are going by every stop every 10-15 minutes. Sure sounds like and is more fun than flying. Thank you so much for all your caring and kindness, it has made our stay a time of renewal and joy.    KC & Frank

  I've been traveling non-stop for work for the last 5 years and have stayed in tons of hotels and rental properties. This one was above and beyond what I have ever booked. The place is beautiful and luxuriously comfortable. Mair is an amazing host who met me late at night after a 22 hour drive to show me around. She even provided breakfast foods and coffee since she knew I would arrive late and have to run in to work the next morning. It's in a perfect location to explore the Pearl (watch out for the Lovejoy Bakery...I think I gained 10lbs in my month there). Grocery store right around the corner and I could walk to my job on the south end of downtown in 30 minutes or jump on the Portland Street car 2 block from the apartment. Would definitely stay there again!

  Too bad we can't give 10 stars! This Bridgeport beauty is pure luxury, and decorated with style and functionality. It is spotlessly clean and beyond comfortably, with only the finest linens and glassware, etc. We are travel writers who have been renting places for years, but nothing that tops this. The condo is fantastic, and so is the location, right in the sweet spot of the newer side of the Pearl District. The building is close to brew pubs, restaurants, shops, and bakeries, and also right in between two lines of Portland's free streetcar (If you are visiting the city, you don't really need a car.) Parks and the Willamette River walk are minutes away. Downtown and Powell's Books are only a fifteen minute walk—this place is an urban hikers dream. Portland is a great city, the Pearl District is the place to stay for visitors---and this condo is the place to be in the Pearl. We can only hope it is available the next time we come to the City of Roses!

  This is the best vacation rental I have stayed in, and I have stayed in many over the years. My husband and I rented this condo for 3 months in 2011 and could not have been more pleased. The condo is exactly as the photos show: it is clean, well-maintained, spacious and comfortable. The location is ideal: walking distance to supermarket, coffee shops, restaurants, retail stores. It is on the streetcar and bus lines, and within walking distance (if you don't mind some longer walks) of just about anything on the west side of Portland. The condo is four blocks from the Willamette river walk, the police horse corral, and cargo ships -- lots to see in a short stroll. Everything in the condo, from bed linens to towels and kitchen equipment is top of the line and clean. Every detail has been covered, including books about Portland, things to do, hiking, and city maps.The condo is quiet; no street noise and no noise from other units or the hall. The building is well-maintained and secure. Mair is the ideal "landlady." She is a delight to deal with, readily accessible, and any problem is resolved as soon as you contact her. In short, I cannot say enough good about the condo or the owner. I'm a demanding renter, insistent on comfort and cleanliness. This is the first time I've ever written a "rave" review. My husband and I did not have one complaint in our 3 months there. Highly recommended. And if you stay here, don't miss Sisters Coffee a block away -- great coffee, friendly staff. And my husband highly recommends the Bridgeport Brewery, also a block away.

Your extra touches have made it so comfortable and convenient. Thank you for all the personal attention. It has been fun exploring the Pearl and all it’s restaurants. We especially enjoyed Andina and the nearby Bridgeport Brewery. Among your many talents your decorating skills are excellent and fun for us in our temporary home away from home.   Mair; It has been my pleasure to stay in your condo in the Pearl. As a consultant who travels the world on contract, I have never experienced a stay that comes close to provide all that you offer. The care and warmth with which yo ensured that all my needs (and wants!) were met, over the 3+ months of my stay, far exceeded anything I expected. There is no doubt that given the opportunity to stay in the Portland area again, you are the first I will look up! Thank you for making the Pearl my home-away-from home.     (Your condo) is beautifully decorated with an elegance we do not have in our home, but still with all the comforts of home.  We felt pampered. We hated to leave!  We think your location is perfect for us.  (It was) close to grocery, pharmacy and a fitness center.  All the wonderful restaurants and shops are added bonus.    Thank you, again.    Donna

  Mair; Where do I begin to thank you for allowing me to stay in your beautiful condo. The details in which you have presented your lovely place is really overwhelming, from the lovely rose bouquet and wine, to all of the lovely bath products, to the simply practical rolls of saran and foil. I travel a lot for business and whenever I am on contract I much prefer finding places to rent over hotel stays, even if I usually leave town on weekends. NEVER have I encountered such a warm welcome to the start of my stay. Our first night at Bridgeport was spent unpacking and getting settled. We explored a local restaurant, Seres, which we very much enjoyed. Ken and I look forward to exploring the area more together until he leaves on Monday. Maybe the weather will hold out one evening so we can try out the new barbeque! And I am sure I will continue to enjoy the comfort and warmth of your place. Thank you, so much! Best regards, ---Tina
