At 5 Loblolly Road off the live oak lined Greenwood Drive, this vacation residence will appeal to everyone in your group. With amazing views of the Sea Pines Ocean Course from every angle of the interior and exterior of the house, sit back, relax and watch the golf or take a dip in the pool and hang out in the hammock under the palm trees. And during the off season, enjoy the view from the warmth of the inside. The choice is yours.
Completely renovated in 2010 with architect home owner attention to detail, this original style Sea Pines residence has come back to life. The entry immediately invites you in to enjoy the sweeping views of the 13th green and fairway, while the living room and dining room beacon you to sit down and relax with friends and family. The living room hosts a comfy U-shaped sleeper sofa and a new 50 inch flat screen to entertain the game crowd who just couldn’t leave the Wii at home. The game table for four allows the traditional gamers to play right along side. The adjoining dining room flows perfectly between the living room and the family room allowing everyone to have their own space and be together at the same time.
The brand new eat-in kitchen adjoins the family room and allows you to be a gourmet cook or heat up something quick before you run off to the beach, bike trail or your tee time. The kitchen boasts top of the line stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, stone flooring, breakfast bar, new cabinets and much more. The family room has an espresso leather L-shaped sleeper sofa, brick fireplace and large flat screen TV with surround sound and DVD.
When you are finally tired from all of the excitement of the day, three bedrooms await you. The spacious master suite hosts a king size bed, comfy swivel chairs to enjoy the view or watch TV, and for those who just can’t completely disconnect from the office, a large desk with wireless internet access. The master bath invites you to relax in the new soaker tub or enjoy the spacious glass-door sandstone tile shower. The granite counter double bowl sinks and adjacent vanity area provide ample room to wind down at night or get ready for the beach in the morning. The blue, brown and buttercup color scheme will have you dreaming of your day at the beach in no time.
The two additional bedrooms have similar color palettes and are generously sized each with their own new bathrooms boasting granite counters, tile floors and tiled full tub/shower. Overlooking the large scale pool, the first guest room has a queen size bed and a twin size daybed and trundle. With its own access to the pool and patio, the second guest room has two queen beds. Both bedrooms have their own flat panel TVs and plenty of dresser and closet space.
This tropical paradise is equidistant from Harbor Town, South Beach/Salty Dog and the Beach Club and just across from Heritage Woods. All are an easy bike ride on the amazing Sea Pines bike trails. The only complaint you may have is that you didn’t have enough time to enjoy it all! We of course will welcome you back again.

We thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful home even despite the chilly weather. The way it was situated nestled at the end of a cul de sac, the beautiful long-range golf course view, the private pool area (although even with the heat during the chilly March weather the pool was not quite warm enough for our tastes!), and being in the middle of Sea Pines made it the perfect location for us. There was plenty of room, and having the den in addition to the living area where people could spread out to watch two different shows or read and relax while others watched TV was also a big plus. In addition, it was great to be able to take advantage of the Sea Pines guest amenities (especially two hours of tennis) as Sea Pines guests even though we booked through the owner.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, people with disabilities, sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers.

We rented this home for a family reunion during the week of July 4th. The listing and photos describe the house quite well. The property is in a great location. The young people in our group really loved the pool and all the flat screen TVs in bedrooms and family rooms. We all loved the amenities of staying at the Sea Pines Resort, primarily the private beach. We enjoyed Harbor Town and Coligny Plaza. The owner is very helpful and responds in a timely manner to emails. Our group will most likely rent this property again next summer.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers.

We love this vacation rental in Sea Pine and have been back on three occasions now, based largely on its location, amenities, safety and floor plan. We stayed here once in the fall, once in the summer and once in the winter after the holidays (and lucked out with great weather). With the limited time we have to vacation as a family, it’s important to us to be able to unwind, but also maximize our time together in a safe family atmosphere, without leaving some of the luxuries of home behind, nor breaking the bank. The property is quite spacious - a one story and accommodates large family gatherings for us. During one of our stays, we fit 3 families with a total of 6 children and 6 adults at this home. But, it’s also not too big for just our immediate family of 4 to be together. The kitchen has absolutely everything you need for a party or an intimate dinner. Appliances are new, furniture is tasteful, rooms are bright and the tile work in the bathrooms is beautiful. While it is tucked away on a quiet cul de sac, the home is still easy to find (unlike other places in Sea Pines). We have a lot of privacy here in which to enjoy our stay without unwanted interruptions. On the flip side, the rental is very close to the bike path - which makes it an easy ride to the beach, golf course, etc. We do love this place – it’s a reasonable price without sacrificing space, location, safety or amenities. Open the front door and we immediately feel like we're in a luxury home and on vacation. Two of the three bedrooms open up to the heated pool. The pool is our favorite place from which to watch golfers putt on the 13th green of Sea Pines Ocean Course, take in the tropical garden or just enjoy stunning sunset views over the golf course. We've had a great time with the kids hunting for golf balls, playing in the pool, walking under the charming old oak trees, and riding bikes within this friendly and safe community. I recommend checking out Harbor Town's shops and of course The Salty Dog (a must for lunch), and again after staying in other properties in Sea Pines, I definitely recommend 5 Loblolly Road.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, people with disabilities, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway.

This gorgeous home in Sea Pines was the perfect place to stay for our family!! Whether you are indoors or outdoors, this house has plenty of extra space. Inside the house their are two big living room areas so everyone can spread out. The outdoor area is wonderfull too - the pool is very large, amazing view of the golf course and tons of space for the kids to run around. It is also very close to all the Sea Pines amenities - beach, Salty Dog, Beach Club, Harbour Town, horse stables, golf, etc. We rode our bikes to everything and rarely drove the car. We will definitely stay here again and again - this house is perfect for our family vacation!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

The property was very clean and the listing photos accurately showed the house and arrangements. Biking in the area was exceptional with the many paved off road trails which were readily accessable from the Loblolly house. The trail map is available at the Visitor's Center. We also enjoyed the guided kayaking on the rivers and creeks nearby. Numerous resturants are within a bike ride away. Our visit coincided with the Heritage Classic Golf Tournament and the traffic was well controlled. We would not hestitate to return there in the same week as a major tournament as there was no inconvenience. The beach is a short walk from the house and we enjoyed evening strolls along the golf course. Provisions for in house food preparation were readily availabe from nearby Publix and Fresh Market. We were there to play but we also took advantage of the nearby clothing shops. All in all, it was a great week.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

It's hard to imagine a more satisfying view. The house is uniquely positioned to enjoy the 13th hole of Ocean Course in Sea Pines; it is at once restful and "entertaining". The house offers a supremely equipped kitchen, wonderful flow of rooms for enjoying family and friends, beautifully decorated and clean as it gets! The location is perfect for bikers' for golfers, for walking the beach and for those who like to read/study. Come and See!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, people with disabilities, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.
