From here you can easily take advantage of the other attractions in the area. An hour and a half drive takes you to the Disney Theme Parks and Universal Studios in Orlando. Take a day trip to historic St Augustines,the Kennedy Space Center or view the mantatees on a St Johns River cruise.
All the attractions of Daytona Beach itself are close at hand. Enjoy the tourist attractions or take a short car or bike ride to the natural surroundings of Ponce Inlet and visit the park and lighthouse museum. Fishing boat charters are also available. Something for everyone!

Just spent the month of July at The Sherwin, rented unit 801. This unit has got to be the nicest one at The Sherwin. Tastefully decorated, with awesome views of the ocean and river from the three balconys. My wife and I would sit out on our private bedroom balcony every night, enjoying the ocean breeze and the view. Can't wait to come back here next year !! Definitely going to contact the owners and let them know how much we love unit 801. It will be nice to have something to dream about during our long, cold, winters here in Upstate NY !!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+.
