My cabin is 800 sq ft and very quant. located in walking distance to Big Bear Lake near board walk , tubing park. Short drive to grocery store, 5-10 min drive to ski slope and Village. This cabin is cute cozy and very clean and near Bear Mountain ski resort.
ACTIVITY BOOK AND BROCHURES : Information available on year round activities in Big Bear. Summer time bring your mountain bike to visit Summit Ski resort to. Ski lift will take up you and your bike . Zip lining, kayaking , boating, boat rentals, Liberty bell lake tour, Discovery center, Fawnskin self tour day trip, Zoo. Don't for get about the 'Village' weekly Village events all year long. Snow toys available no additional fee to use.
This IMMACULATELY Clean Cute Cozy is newly decorated with Big Bear themed wall fixtures .
BEDROOMS: Master Bedroom has queen size pillow top log bed. Master Bed work opens up to deck. Master bedroom newly installed flat scree 19' t.v. Second bedroom features two set of bunk beds. Bottom Beds are also pillow top. Top beds are not for safety. Board games and snow cloths for the kids. Snow clothes available for small children
KITCHEN : Kitchen has all new cabinets and appliances, Stove has 5 burners. Microwave also new. New flooring through out the home. This is a single story cabin, new pots, pan and dishes. wine glasses etc. new bbq on back deck.
LIVING ROOM; Living room features a large rock wood burning fireplace. Interior features a 32 inch flat screen tv with Dish network and Starz movie. Wood flooring through out cabin . Cabin decor through out. Large leather sectional sofa , so soft you can easily fall a sleep on it ! Dinning table seats six . Theme Big Bear logo paintings through out. Snow sled and rustic ski decor.
PARKING : Parking allows for two cars maximum.
SUPPLIES- trash bags, cleaning sponge, cleaning supplies. We do have hair blowers. We do not supply soaps or shampoos. Cabin does come with linens and towels.
BIKES : Enjoy riding around the lake with your choice of a beach cruiser or mountian bike, at no additional charge !! If your like me and tired of hauling around your bikes on vacation, no need to worry while renting with us. I have six bicycles to choose from. Two adult size beach cruisers or 2 mountain bikes, 2 children bikes. . I have 3 childrens helmets and two adults. We also have saftey flashing lights So take your pick ! You must supply your own helmet for more then 2 adults and sign a release of liablity to use bicycles.

Had a great time at this cabin, loved how it was decorated and was very clean. Very quiet neighborhood. Had fun skiing and playing in the snow with my family. Debbie was a great host and very organized with instructions of the house. Would rent this cabin again and recommend to anyone for a great stay in Big Bear.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

what a lovely little cabin. it was perfect for what we needed- just a short weekend getaway. the owner, debbie was incredibly kind and very responsive to all of our needs. the cabin was clean and comfortable, and very well located to the town center. the kitchen was very well stocked with cooking supplies (although we terribly missed having a dishwasher!). debbie obviously takes great pride in her cabin, and we have plans to definitely stay at this cabin again. what a relaxing weekend we had!! thank you so much for letting us use your cabin! julie & nathanOwner response: HI Julie and Nathan Thank you for your kind remarks. This cottage was absolutely perfect for my son and I. Huge bonus is there are 6 bikes available for your use to stroll around the town. We packed our fishing poles and did a nice ride around the lake and found some great spots. The place is kept very clean with a kitchen well supplied. We will definitely be back again.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

The pictures DO NOT do it justice! We completely agree with all of the other reviews. It felt just like home as soon as we walked in! This wonderful cabin is cozy, immaculate, and perfectly decorated! Everything is new. The kitchen is stocked with new dishes, pots, pans, glasses, etc. We did not want to leave and can't wait to come back! I love this cabin it is extremely clean very welcoming, tastefully decorated. It is perfect for a family of 6. We enjoyed cozy fireplace, super clean kitchen & bathroom, fresh linen not to mention TV, DVD player. The village and grocery store less then 10 min away by car. We would definitely consider coming back again and again.. This cabin is truly pride of ownership thank you for a wonderful stay. I rate this cabin 5 stars only item missing were the chocolate mints on the pillows……. Great for sightseeing, great getaway for married couples “second honeymoon” ,families with young children, age 55+, people with disabilities, peaceful and quiet..Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Just returned from a wonderful 2-night stay. As other reviewers state - the cabin is even better than the pictures detail. Great location - quiet, yet central. We really enjoyed the nature walk over the lake which is just down the road. The house has extremely accessible parking and every amenity one may need - my children hated to leave. Also - Debbie is a very conscientious renter and available for any and all questions. Cabin was extremely clean and furniture and decor were very nice. It was a prefect size for me , my hubby and 15 month old daughter. We loved that the cabin was close to the lake, the village, and grocery store. We were very impressed with the fact that the owner was available during our stay in case we had any problems or questions. We would definitely consider staying in this cabin again. The only drawback for us was, that there was no washing machine and wirh a liittle one it would have come in handy. Also, all appliances, dishware, cookware, utensils were in great condition.Recommended for: Families with young children, sightseeing.

This small cabin is very charming, clean, and comfort for everyone in our party. The kids have a wonderful and memorable time. Every little thing that you need for comfort, you may be able to find it in this cabin. The decoration in the house is very cute and cozy which made you feel very relaxing. It feels like home away from home. Debbie, the owner, is wonderful and very good of following up with you. Debbie is also very flexible to work with you and very professional. I would recommend this cabin to all the people that I know.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

About the owner: Richard and I (Debbie) have been married over 16 years, we were both born and raised in Southern California. We enjoy spending our weekend with our son Richard 14 snowboarding and hiking . When Richard and I orignally purchase our sweet get away, It brought us back to our childhood as we had many camping adventures in the woods.. We also wanted Aaron too enjoy the snow and become the next world campion in snowboarding. Aaron descided to place his interest in Art instead. When we decided to rent out our sweet retreat. I wanted renters to enjoy and make their own memorable weekends. We rent out to parties of six or less, to ensure a comfortable stay.
Why the Owner Chose Big Bear City:
We purchase a vacation rental in Big Bear for several reasons. It's only two hours from my home. I can literally go to the beach in the morning then ride down the slops by the afternoon. You can't do that in Mammoth ! The beautiful lake in the summer makes it a year around vacation destination for many near and far. The smell of the fresh pine trees make the trip worth while. You can walk a half a mile and go fishing, take my bike around the lake. Ski and snowboard during the winter.

The first time I rented a cabin in Big bear it was not the cleanest place, old decor and a smell of smoke . I went out a purchased sheet on my vacation. I was afraid my kids would get some disease . So when I decided to rent our cabin out, other families would not have to suffer my fate . I sterilize and use house keeping service with every visit. This place is in tip top shape ! Clean new appliance and dished. This cabin is cleaner then my home down the hill !! LOL
