  Couldn't ask for a better condo. Impressive hard wood floors and remodeled baths, spacious unit with working kitchen. Very comfortable beds and quiet complex. Large balconies, excellent views.. Location is great with very beautiful swimmable beach with well-kempt lawn area. Walking distance to Coconut market plaza (Whaler general store, gifts and great grab-a-bite food stands) and restaurants. Safeway and Foodland short drive. Manager of condo very pleasant, helpful and accessible. Thank you for sharing your home! We would love to return.

  Our family had such a relaxing week at Lae Nani...watching the sunrise from the lanai, waking & sleeping to the sounds of the surf, snorkeling in the tide pool just a few steps away from the condo (so many beautiful fish!), swimming in the resort pool, and exploring nearby shops and beaches. The condo was very clean and well-maintained with fantastic amenities. Highly recommended! It was tropical perfection & we can't wait to return.

  What can I say? I'm still dreaming of waking up with the sound and view of the beautiful ocean right out in front of the bedroom. It was absolutely wonderful. The condo was beautifully decorated and updated. I loved the wood floors which were actually quiet. The bathrooms were nicely done too.The complimentary gift basket in the kitchen was a nice touch. Everything was clean and comfortable. But the location, view, beach and pool were exceptional! What a treat. It is within walking distance of many great places to shop and dine. For typical local hawaiian food, the Ono Mkt was the best. We ate at the Olympic Cafe many times which was very good, Kintaro ,right across the street for excellent Japanese food and of course the Market was close by and the kitchen well equipped to cook in. The Britta water pitcher was a smart amenity which was appreciated so you don't need to buy bottled water.

  Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! Spacious, well-appointed and updated, nothing lacking and the property was clean and well-maintained. This condo is truly a taste of heaven. Expansive lanai off the living and dining rooms, a second of the master suite that both sit over looking the surf some 60 feet below. The beach is is swimable with areas safe for small children and one is able to snorkle right at the beach area. Located on the edge of Kapaa, stores including Safeway as well as any type of shopping you desire are very close by. Kapaa is centrally located on the island making it a good place to access the islands attractions from. This unit, #535, is far and away the best unit in the complex which only contains about a total of 85 units. This means the facility is not crowded and the atmosphere is truly quiet and relaxing.   This was our second stay at Lae Nani and our first stay in Unit 535. From the moment we stepped into the wonderful Unit, we felt like we were at home. The Unit has fabulous ocean views; there is nothing better than going to sleep with the windows open and the ocean lulling you to sleep. The beach is steps from your door and has the best Keiki pool; the snorkling in the Keiki pool was fun and the surf at the main beach was great for the kids. They also had a great time at the pool. The Unit itself has wood floors, great bathrooms, a nice kitchen, etc. It is in very nice shape and was very very clean upon our arrival. I would recommend Unit 535 to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Kauai.

  Unit 535 was clean and had everything we needed for our week long stay (equipped kitchen, beach towels, chairs, laundry basket, etc.). We picked this unit because it looked the most updated, it was closest to the water, and had wi-fi. It did not disappoint in these respects. The new wood floors were nice. The bathrooms were recently updated and the master room furniture was new. We were able to run our Netflix account through the TV which was also nice. The view was great and we really enjoyed the grounds on the few days we decided to just stay in Kapaa. Only took about 45 min. to get up north and about 1 hour to get to the Canyon. Why four stars? I only give a five if everything is perfect and there were a few things that could be improved. For example, the kitchen is a bit outdated (though very clean and functional) and the cooking pans showed some wear. The master bathroom is tight, so since it was just the two of us, we used the center bathroom which was bigger. Their is also a tree right outside the master bedroom where birds would begin to roast at 5:45 am. As there is no AC in any of the Lai Nani units, you have sleep with the windows and balcony doors open. With the birds, we we would have to close the windows at 5:45 am and try and get back to sleep but usually were up by 6 am (which was usually OK as we went to bed early). None of these things were deal breakers and I am sure the birds chirping is probably an issue for all units, but it's why this unit gets a 4 not a 5. But in terms of the location of the unit on the property, it is definitely a 5. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

  Owner response: Thank you so much for your review and comments. The current kitchen was renovated about 7 years ago and renovation plans are in the works now to update it again. We will look into the status of the cookware and will replace anything that needs replacing. Those birds! Like the roosters on other parts of the Island, if you're there long enough, you get used to it. Sometimes if we run the fan, the white noise drowns out the sound. I am sorry that they woke you up so early. I hope you were able to enjoy the beautiful sunrise and quiet at that time of day.   We've stayed at Lae Nani many times and this condo gets our vote as the best. Two lanais with 180-degree ocean views, beautiful decor, comfortable beds, great TV's and internet access, well-equipped kitchen, and little details like island-made soaps make this our favorite unit. At Lae Nani, you don't really need a car. Shopping and restaurants are within walking distance as are many activities. There is an excellent pool for swimming and a little protected cove for ocean swimming. We stayed here for three weeks and hope to make it four weeks next year.

  This condominium is in a superb location with all the amenities of home. The decor is modern and aesthetically pleasing. Nice art work too! I had some of my best sleeps there...the ocean sounds and stunning views are paradise. The condo is well appointed and has a lovely feel to it. It had the three things we look for when staying ...clean, comfortable and classy. The grounds are well maintained and the location is central to shopping areas. The owner was extremely helpful and answered our numerous questions. We would HIGHLY recommend this condo to anyone looking for accommodation on Lihue.

  We stayed here June 2011 and loved everything about this condo. The location of the condo itself is amazing and we loved listening and watching the waves crash from the balconies. Even better was the beach that took about 20 sec to reach. The beach was fun to swim and hang out at for our toddler and for adults. We loved that the condo included the use of sand toys, beach chairs and a boogie board. The condo also included toys for my toddler, a pack and play and a stroller - these extra touches made vacationing with our toddler so much easier. By the way the location of this property is the best on the island - great beach out front, within walking distance to restaurants and coffee, plus an easy location to take off and check out the rest of the island. Bottom line - stay here, you'll love it!
