You will experience the relaxing atmosphere of Perdido Key, (the lost key), which is the western most barrier island shoreline in the State of Florida. The sugar white sand beaches have been ranked one of the top ten beaches in the United States by the "Atlanta Journal Constitution."
Sandy Key Condominiums are located on the eastern end of the island and are a short walk from the Gulf Islands National Seashore. Sandy Key offers 800 feet of beachfront, which is among the largest beachfront of condominiums on Perdido Key.
While at Sandy Key you will have the opportunity to take advantage of the following amenities: tennis, exercise room, 2 swimming pools - one of which is heated, hot tub or just relax on the beach. Nearby you can enjoy 3 championship golf courses, 2 state parks, the Gulf National Seashore, as well as the many activities noted below. Also enjoy some of the Gulf Coast's best and freshest seafood in many local restaurants.
A few miles east is historic Pensacola and the Naval Air Station at Pensacola, home of the Blue Angels Flight Team. For many months of the year you can view their practice sessions. If you drive a few miles west you are in Orange Beach/Gulf Shores, Alabama with its many attractions. Excellent shopping exists in the many shops and boutiques along the coast and the outlet mall in Foley, Alabama has bargains to suit everyone.
Our 1200 plus square feet condo is located on the seventh floor. We have furnished the unit in a relaxed style for adults as well as children. It is ideal for one or two couples, or a couple with children. In addition the 14 foot covered balcony (among the largest on the key), has dual access from both the master bedroom and the living/dining room areas. You can watch the gulls and dolphins as you dine, or relax and enjoy the sun as it rises and sets.

Why the Owner Chose Sandy Key
After searching the entire Florida Panhndle Coast, ( a six hour drive from Atlanta), we settled on Sandy Key as the place to be. It is family oriented without the crowds of Destin and Panama City.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
We enjoy the peacefulness of the Gulf National Seashore which is a short walk away. To the East, Pensacola, its history, nightlife and restaurants are only 20 minutes away. To the West Orange Beach/Gulf Shores, with its amusement parks, shopping and restaurants is but a short drive. The local restaurants on Perdido Key specialize in fresh seafood and are fantastic. I enjoy surf fishing right on the beach in front of our condo unit.
The Gulf National Seashore/Johnson Beach is but a short walk from Sandy Key. Seven miles of pristine beach. A great place for a bike ride.
The Pensacola Naval Air Station is home to the Naval Air Museum and the famous Blue Angels.
For all your grocery needs there is a Winn-Dixie and a Publix. Other shops and stores can meet your needs.
A full service marina and home to the "Sunset Grill", whose name defines the time of day for your best visit.
World Famous Gulf Side Bar and Eatery. Open Day and Night. Check out their WEB site for ongoing activities.
A favorite. Dine for lunch or dinner and watch the boats on the Intracostal Waterway
Park designed for small children. All work and supplies donated by the local community and the Naval Air Station.

We had the pleasure of staying at Sandy Key for two weeks in October 2011. We LOVE Perdido Key in October. The Unit was comfortable, quiet, and well appointed. We especially enjoy this location because it is within walking distance of the National Seashore on Johnson Beach Rd.

Totally enjoyable experience! This one has it all...pleasant owner, courteous rental office, convenience, access gates, spotless grounds, really equipped fitness center, heated and unheated pool plus whirlpool, and furnishings that are actually comfy. The kitchen was the most equipped I've sent, perfect for a longer stay than the week we enjoyed. All this and a view overlooking not just the pool but the gorgeous beach. Really large balcony as well with doors from the living room and the bedroom. My husband and I are retired and this was the perfect spot for us as well as younger, larger families. Five stars in my book.

Our stay was excellent. The unit met all our expectations. The furnshings were stylish, clean and well maintained. The ocean view was a beautiful way to start and end our day. The unit's location was very convienient. For example we were 5 minutes away from a first rate golf course. In addition, we were close to the Naval Air Museum and the Blue Angel's home base. Many fine restaurants are close by. A word about the beach, it is attractive and clean. Great for children. We look forward to visiting again. Ron and Louise

Comfortable and beautifully furnished, without being "fussy"--perfect for a family with children. No oil, and everyone enjoyed both the heated and unheated pool immensely.

We really enjoyed our stay in your home again. We spent most of our time on the beach and in the pools. They weather was great. We even spotted a few sting rays and dolphin - the boys thought they were cool. Thank you again for opening your home to us. We hope to be back again next year.

Your condo is lovely, very comfortable, and we enjoyed the view, sound of the waves and being right on the berach. Your kitchen is so well supplied, the sofa the most comfortable ever, and shower pressure is great. Great weather. The beach umbrella boy, Mike from Michigan, took great care of us. Just a wonderful few days we needed to get away to the beach. Overall a lovely weekend.
