We had a great time, and the view from the 20th floor was amazing. The condo is very tastefully decorated, which is what we were looking for. We did have a couple of hiccups though, and that is why I did not give it 5 stars. The day we checked in, they had had some rain, and the carpeting by the sliding door to the patio was soaking wet. We told the front desk, and they said it happened to a lot of the condos. As the week went on, it started to smell pretty bad. Also, a number of the electrical outlets did not work. Other than that, it was perfect. We were down for the USFA World Series. I would definitely stay here again!n They had everything you would need, for cooking, and even had a small cooler. We did add a few toys to the spare room toy box. Hopefully some other child will love it as much as my 3 year old did.

Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway.
We stayed there July 2011. It was a very nice condo, and the owners were so easy to deal with. The view from the 20th floor balcony was unbelievable. There were a few things that could have made it a perfect week. The bedroom clock was a cheapie, a $20 automatic 2 alarm clock from Wal-mart, coffee maker that was programmable, medium sized LCD tv's and better internet would make a nice change. Only two devices could access the internet at one time, and both of us parents and two kids had to share time online at night. The place was tastefully decorated, the furniture was very comfortable. The king sized bed in the master bedroom could have had it's own area code it was so big and comfortable. The place had plenty of hot water, and had all the dishes and needed items for the week. While the seaweed was very bad, the pools provided a nice place to enjoy the Florida sun. It was our first time to stay so high, and you could see storms with lightning in the gulf, 20-30 miles out while the sun shined on the beach. The full moon on the water at night was one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. When we told people we were on the 20th floor, I heard horror stories about the elevators. We never waited more than 2-3 minutes for an elevator, and most of the time it was no wait at all. I would definitely stay there again. The worst part of the trip was the sliding glass doors. The tracks were rusted and opening the balcony doors from both the bedroom and living room felt like you were using a Bowflex. I had recent shoulder surgery and the doors were very hard to open and close for even our teens. We bought oil and tried to make the track easier, but that didn't help much. The trip was an overall A, and we had a great time. This place was less expensive than most we found during this busy seek at the beach. Thanks for our vacation memories.

Owner response: Thank you for the excellent review. The doors need new rollers periodically and we will have those replaced immediately. We appreciate your suggestions on the TVs, coffeemaker and bedroom clocks. We agree with your comments on the internet, but unfortunately that service is provided through The Dunes of Panama. Hopefully, that will improve in the future. We are happy you enjoyed your stay in our vacation home and hope you will return.

Year Purchased: 2003
About the owner: We are a retired military family and have recently retired again as Realtors in the Panama City Beach area. We decided to move nearer our children in South Georgia in order to enjoy time with our five grandchildren but still spend as much time in our beach home as possible. There's no place we ALL enjoy more!
Why the Owner Chose Dunes of Panama:
We chose to buy at Dunes of Panama because of the desirable location on Panama City Beach. The location is perfect for a vacation getaway year round....just far enough away from the frenzy of Spring Break but still convenient to all the PCB attractions and activities.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
We have more Gulf frontage than any other resort in Panama City Beach. From the front door, you can actually see the world famous Captain Anderson's Restaurant and Deep Sea Fishing Boats. Conveniently located to all your favorite beach activities including the new Pier Park open air shopping mall. There's something here for every member of your party. We hope you'll choose to vacation in our second home.....just relax and for the time you're here, enjoy your own little piece of paradise!
