  We LOVED this place! We frequently visit Destin and mainly stay in Sandestin but Beach Retreat will be our new location of choice. Owner was great to work with and answered all our questions promptly. Location is great - easy access to either end of town (destin commons or grand blvd) and nice walking/biking paths along Scenic Gulf Dr. The condo is lovely and comfortable and very nicely appointed. The ground floor was extremely convenient for my 78 year old mother in law and for our dog. The beach access is literally a minute or two away from the door which is so much easier than the typical high rises we stay in. The pool was beautifully landscaped and well kept - we never used the club house, fitness center or grilling area but they appeared to be well maintained. The general area felt safe and we did not hesitate to take the dog strolling after dark. I have already highly recommended Beach Retreat to family & friends - we were 100% pleased and will look forward to our next visit.

  We had an awesome vacation week in Destin and at The Beach Retreat. The condo was great. It was immaculate and fully stocked. The furniture was new and the flat screen TV was great to watch movies on at night...we couldn't have asked for a better place. The owner, Al, was great to deal with-very professional and accommodating. This was our first time to Destin and he went out of his way to recommend things to do, places to visit and nice restaurants to check out. We will definitely be back next year.

  This condo was outstanding in every way...location, condition, quality, everything! Al was excellent to talk to, and he maintains an awesome property. My twin girls especially loved the bunk room. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone looking for a relaxing week on a beautiful, private beach. Having the umbrella and chair service topped it off for us. I hope we can return again next year!

  I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed staying in your condo at Beach Retreat. It was just perfect for our family. Well appointed room with everything we needed for our stay. The convenience of being on the ground floor was amazing. I think the walk to the beach took probably a little over a minute. I thought crossing the street might be a hassle but I was pleasantly surprised at how quick and easy the walk to the beach was. And the section of beach for Beach Retreat is HUGE! I must also say that the attendants for the umbrellas and chairs did a wonderful job. Very attentive and made sure that everyone's umbrella was positioned just perfect, even coming around and readjusting as the sun changed position in the sky. We will definitely be staying at your unit the next time we visit Destin. Thanks! The Hoffman Family

  What we love most besides the furnishings/amenities is the location! We walk everywhere, restaurants, coffee shops, shopping centers. We wouldn't have to use the car if we wanted to subdstitute exercise to get places. It is very easy to be on the beach in a couple of minutes, and the first floor unit makes that even easier,! The first floor was fabulous for our pet too. We enjoyed the view of the ocean and the sunsets to the west. We were on the patio all of the time because it faces south. Even when the cold north winds came, it was toasty there. The big flat screen tv and surround sound were a plus. Stove and frig may need to be updated if they have not already been. We have been there the last two years for 3 mo, and it was awesome. We will miss it terribly next year. Wisconsin snowbirds

  My family and I stayed at Al and Mindy's condo this past week, and it was a fabulous rental. The condo is nicely appointed and very close to the beach walkover. The pool area is lovely for a beach break. We took our dogs and having a ground floor unit was perfect! Several good restaurants are in walking distance also. I had many conversations with Al and he could not have been more helpful! We could not have had a better location for a quick get away! We will definitely use this rental property again.

  Thanks so much, Al and Mindy, for allowing us to stay in this beautiful condo. The view is beautiful and the location and proximity to the beach is so convenient. My family and I had such a great time. My two year old keeps saying "vacation home" which means he's already wanting to go back! The condo is spacious which is good when traveling with family- there's enough space to keep us from getting on each other's nerves. =-) We definitely want to come back! Thanks again!!!

  We were so impressed with The Beach Retreat and the wonderful views of the beach! This condo was fabulous...very spacious and beautifully decorated. Everything about our stay was great! Al was so helpful to tell us about another owner in the building so that we could find the PERFECT accommodations for our large group. Many of the other condos in the area have buildings blocking the great views..but not The Beach Retreat. We will definitely stay here again! A+++++++

  Having formerly lived in the southeast, I have vacationed in the Destin area on several occasions. This condo is by far one of the best I have stayed at. Nothing beats a 1st floor rental, out the door and to the beach or pool. Great view of the ocean from your patio. The condo is very clean and all apliances are in great condition. Don't miss out on this hot spot.
