Qualicum Beach house description
Welcome to our beach house, situated in beautiful Qualicum Beach, British Columbia. With our renovations completed in 2007 this has made our island home getaway a dream come true - see for yourself.
The house was built in the 1940's. It was just a small cottage with two others beside it. After many years of tenants, and with renovations now complete, we added a full second storey and brought it back to its former glory.
This classic spacious private home is now available for short and long-term rentals. It sleeps six, plus one on a pull-out sofa bed in the den.
Do you love the beach or would you prefer a round of golf? How about sampling great food after a day browsing the local shops? Whether you're a surfer or a skier, or you simply want a well-deserved getaway, Qualicum Beach has it all.

This is our third visit to this Beach House. This time we visited the Little Qualicum Cheese Factory and enjoyed tasting lots of cheeses and wine! We had a bonfire on the beach and roasted marshmallows!! The stargazing was amazing, you can't get a view of the stars like that in the city. We really feel at home in this tastefully decorated beach house. It is very well appointed, clean, cute and comfortable. The beds are really comfortable for a good night's sleep. There is a huge tub upstairs and a double shower downstairs in the clean and modern bathrooms. Location! Location! Location! Just walk out the door and go to the beach or on a nature walk. Store, pub, and dining you can walk to. It is a quick ride to downtown Qualicum for shopping or dining. If you want to relax outside, the backyard is private and charming. We definitely recommend this property, in fact we gave our friends a weekend here as a wedding present!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Beach House! Many times on internet bookings pictures can be deceiving, but in this case we found the house to be much better than we expected! There was plenty of room for Grandma, Grandpa, Mom, Dad, and three kids! It was an absolute pleasure to stay in! The decor, furnishings, cleanliness, and location were perfect. The whole house had a very welcoming feel, and had extra little details of decor and comfort. Every morning we opened the blinds on all the windows, and then sipping coffee we watched harbour seals from the couch! Our young boys loved the "ship room" with the bunk bed and nautical theme, and were overjoyed to find a pile of toys waiting for them! It was a pleasure every day to sit outside in the backyard garden to eat supper, and then walk across the road to watch the sunset on the ocean. It was so nice to be able to get groceries close by, and access miles more beach choices with only short drives. We would stay here again, absolutely!

We stayed at the Beach House for nine nights and found it to be very comfortable and well-equipped. It is beautifully decorated and has modern bathrooms with a huge bathtub upstairs and a double-sized shower downstairs. The house is situated on the Island Highway, which is quite busy, but has a lovely view of the ocean. The beds are comfortable with high-quality bedding. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a big meal, and we enjoyed sitting at the marble-topped island. The only drawback, for us, was the lack of television, but there is a TV and DVD player if you want to watch movies. We were quite happy there and felt very much at home.
