Blackstone lodge is a luxury house, located in a very quiet part of town, just a few minutes drive from the ski hill and Fernie down town main street. Enjoy some of the best mountain views in Fernie right from your bedroom. All bedrooms have private bathrooms and balconies with a king size 4 post bed. Every bathroom has a claw foot bath tub with overhead rain shower, sink and toilet.
You can curl up in the lounge with a cozy faux fur throw and a good book in front of our wood-burning fireplace.
Or chill out and recover from an action packed day in the hot tub with a glass of bubbly and some wonderful mountain views.
The lodge has a 60' LED HDTV with full Surround sound cinema room, and blu-ray for those big blockbuster movie.
For the chef in you; a bespoke fully fitted kitchen with all utensils and appliances you could need.
There is a mudroom with commercial boot and clothes dryers.
Easy access too off street parking big enough for large vehicles with trailers.
Free Wifi throughout the lodge.
A wrap around balcony for you to enjoy the views or use the natural gas grill provided.
Outside the front door are some of Fernie's best hiking, biking, snowshoeing so you don't have to drive anywhere.
Other activities within the town just minutes from the house are world class fly fishing,skiing/snowboarding, snowmobiling, biking, golf, rafting, wild life watching, husky sledding plus many more.
This is a perfect retreat for corporate groups and family vacations.
The owners live in the private condo located in the basement of the lodge. Private entrance and exit completely self contained.

Great place to stay. Beautiful home and furnishing. Very comfortable beds and bathrooms. Close to the ski hill and to downtown fernie. Can't beat the smell of the cedar while soaking in the cedar hot tub after a day of skiing. Breakfast was amazing! very relaxed and comfortable place to stay. Great value for your dollar too. Can't beat it.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

About the owner: To introduce ourselves Powder skiing and snowboarding are what promoted us to move to British Columbia to realize our ambition of running a lodge offering easy access to the sports we so much enjoy ourselves. We fell in love with Fernie, and its people in 2007 bought a plot of land, and have spent three years saving hard in order to build our lodge. Brought up in England, we met at the University of Wales when were we eighteen, studying similar degree courses in Tourism, Sport and Leisure Management. After graduating, we spent time travelling around North America, Central America, Australia and Asia and worked in various hotels and sports clubs to pay our way. We followed that by a season in France working as hosts in a chalet and doing some ski guiding for guests. We returned to London to work and save towards our ambition of owning our own lodge. Ian qualified as golf teaching professional and Charlotte a professional tennis coach, as you can tell the outdoor life inspires us! We put together all our knowledge and experience of what makes accommodation comfortable, relaxing and holidays memorable. From the quality of the beds to the warmth of the fire, we have tried to make your experience our priority.
