Beautifully decorated and nicely landscaped four bedroom, four bath three story beach cottage located in quaint crystal beach community. There is also a cabana room with bath right off of pool area. Centrally located to the best of both worlds-the beach and shopping! Relax and unwind on the expansive wraparound porches complete with rockers; cool off in the private splash pool; spend a day at the beach - just one block away (two blocks to beach access); take an evening stroll through this adorable community or catch Destin's breathtaking sunsets.

Every bedroom has separate entry to porch. Three of the bedrooms are furnished with king size beds and the fourth bedroom is a bunkroom with 2 sets of bunkbeds (bottom bunk is a double futon). The living room is equipped with a 52" Flat Screen HDTV and DVD. Destin Dreaming is conveniently located just 3 blocks to Destin's premier shopping - the Destin Commons and Rave stadium seating 14 screen movie theater, great restaurants like Beachwalk Cafe, Fudpuckers, Captain Dave's, Chili's and many more, and approximately five miles to the world famous Silver Sands Designer Factory outlet.

  • We just got back from our second stay at your great property and the second time was as good, or better, than the first. The location is great, the accommodations are super, and there is a real "homelike" feel to the place. We were with a different couple this year and they were also delighted with "Destin Dreaming".

  • Most descriptions are done by "creative" writers, but at this property every word is true...the lovely landscaping is just that. Everything is provided down to the cajun seasoning for your shrimp purchase. If you rent this property based upon the description, it will meet or exceed your every expectation.

  • Our Texas family has always traveled to the outer banks of North Carolina to meet up with our Pennsylvania family, but for us the travel was 1 day too long and the water too cold. I decided this year we were going to try some place closer, so after some research Destin was the spot and Destin Dreaming was the vacation home for us. Of course we were a little nervous as to the accommodations and conditions prior to our arrival, but let me tell you, everything was just as the pictures appeared. Once we all had a chance to unpack and nest, we all felt as if we were at home. No one ever said "I wish I had" anything, because everything we needed was either there or we took it. The neighborhood was quite and the house was just a block and a half to the public access of the beautiful beach where the water was crystal clear and fabulous. We had a wonderful vacation and will definately return again. So if you're thinking about "Destin Dreaming" booking it, you won't be disappointed!

  • Stacey, we just wanted to let you know what a pleasure it was to stay in your beautiful home! My family and I have vacationed in Destin for 20+ years and I have to say that this was by far the best rental property we have ever stayed in! The property was just a short walk to the beach and the house was wonderfully decorated. The pool was a bonus. Not only were the rooms beautiful but the yard was gorgeous! Although it rained a couple of days, we were perfectly content sitting on the porch with our two dogs (who loved the fenced in yard) overlooking the peaceful neighborhood. We are already planning our 2010 vacation and we will be contacting you shortly to book another week for next summer. Thank you Stacey!!!

  • WOW - what a wonderful property you have in Destin! We took our daughter who was turning 16 years old and let her bring 5 other teens with us as well as our chihuahua and the house was PERFECT! To be a pet friendly (that is scary sometimes but this property was in great shape and didn't smell of any animal)! We didn't know what to expect, but we all felt like we were at home while there. Had EVERYTHING we needed. We ate in every night except for two nights to save money you had every thing we needed. The kitchen looks totally renovated with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances! The pool house was great with the sleeper sofa and private bathroom. Great place for someone to sleep! If we go back to Destin - that is the only place we are staying now. Thanks for keeping your house well kept! It was MARVELOUS! Definitely within walking distance of beach and thanks for the beach chairs, floats, and all of your supplies.

  • Stacey, once again our vacation was wonderful! This is our second of many more visit to your home. It's hard to put in words what this vacation ment to me just having battled and conquering breast cancer. Our first visit was in 2007 and my entire family was in love with your home. Our plan was to return in 2008, but I received shocking news of my breast cancer. But God knew I was determined to return to the peace and warmth of your beautiful home. And I did it! We had a total of 7 adults and 2 children in our party. The kids lived in the pool with there dads. I loved being able to sit on the pourch and relax. And the beach was speechless. I told you I was there to rest and take pictures and I rested and took and total of over 800 pictures. We all will be back in 2010, and if anyone is looking for a place to take there family during the summer or fall, this is the place! The pictures don't do this wonderful home justice.   • This is our fourth New Years celebration at Destin and our first in a private home. What a wonderful change to be able to enjoy Destin Dreaming's pretty yard and neighborhood. The house is very roomy -- we accomodated seven people with no problems -- and the kitchen is well equipted. Walking and jogging was a special treat in such a quiet, interesting area and the beach was just 5 minutes away. We all loved it! Hope to come back soon!

  • What a great experience for our family! the house was wonderful, tastefully decorated. Everything you would find at your own home was there. Our family had not been all together in several years. We had a great time. Everything was close, within walking distance to the beach & shopping. I would recommend "Destin Dreaming" to everyone. I hope to go back there soon.

  • We were very happy with the accomodations of Destin Dreaming. The house is HUGE and has every imaginable necessity. It's very well furnished and the bedrooms are very spacious. One of the best features is that three of the bedrooms have king-size beds, so it's a very easy house to share with 2 other couples. We really enjoyed the porches and the fenced-in yard for our schnauzers. The walk to the beach is very close and the house is centrally located near all the things we like to do when in Destin. We were very sad to have to leave and we hope to be back next year! Thanks for such a wonderful house! The Portells
