We fit 5 families (with kids ranging in age from 10 months to 11 years old) into this house comfortably and had a wonderful, comfortable weekend all together. Each family had their own bedroom. Some of the kids camped out in the TV/game room. The house had all the amenities we needed plus a big backyard for the kids to play frisbee, Red Rover, catch, etc. We enjoyed hanging out on the deck in the backyard. There was a washer and dryer in the basement for throwing in wet towels. The house was in a good location but also felt private. We spent a morning in Hanover, an afternoon swimming in the Quechee Gorge swimming hole and another day at the Quechee Club's outdoor pool. It was great to have access to that Club for added entertainment possibilities. The owners were very responsive, friendly and easy to deal with when making arrangements. This house is not fancy but clean and well-stocked. We would definitely go back to this house.

the house was quite large and comfortable. The only negative was lighting- living room dark for reading. Everything was clean. plenty of pots and pans and plates etc in kitchen. Close to White river Junction-our destination. We enjoyed shopping at fat hat, and ate out in hanover at Molly's. I would definately recommend. 12 family members stayed and we had pleanty of room-could use a few more chairs in living room.
Owner response:Thank you for your comments. I spoke to my cleaning lady and she said some of the lamps had been moved around. We will take care of that. We really like Fat Hat too. Now there is a new Irish Coffee House right next to it . Very cute.

My family and I had a wonderful getaway in this rental. We were happy to find a very comfortable home with plenty of space inside and outside to gather, eat &play games together. We walked all around the area, enjoyed watching glass blowing, crossed the water at the covered bridge and ate at Firesides. We explored the beautiful hillside veiws, enjoyed Woodstock's shoppes, ate Quechee's cheese, maple syrup, ice cream and fudge.Memorablegetaways was easy to work with.

The house was wonderful and perfect size for our group of 10. The location was very convenient for events at the Quechee Club and also the Upper Valley. We just wish we could have stayed longer!

This house is comfortable, clean and perfect for a weekend/week with friends and family. It had all the amenities advertised, was centrally located in Quechee and only a short drive to Woodstock or Hanover, NH. The owners were very responsive and helpful answering questions prior to our stay. I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a nice Vermont getaway.
Owner response:Thank you, we hope you can visit us again some time.

We just came home from a weekend with 6 of our friends. We felt completely at home in this beautiful house. There is nothing quite like sipping your morning coffee at the kitchen table and seeing a hot air balloon coming up over the horizon. Quechee is a wonderful little town with lots in the area to do.

Once again we enjoyed our time in Vermont, in Quechee and in your home. The new curtains are lovely, the bathroom and kitchen sinks are attractive. The new sofa is comforatable. We enjoyed the new "entertainment center" too. All the best for good health and good time in all your homes!

I booked this house during Dartmouth's 2004 Homecoming and had a wonderful time. The house is wonderfully laid out and appointed, it is in walking distance to Simon Pearce, and the owners are a pleasure to do business with. A-Plus! I look forward to my next stay.

Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us. What a great place. We had a very nice relaxing vacation. The kids enjoyed having their own rooms upstairs. the house was wonderfully equipped. We enjoyed watching the latest's DVD's, playing games and finishing the puzzle. Quechee is awesome and we found many things to do.

Had A wonderful stay from July 1 to July 5 in Quechee. The Home is great and was able to handle all 12 of us. The Quechee Club and Lake was a great plus. Woodstock is also a great community with shops and great for breakfast. Don't forget the peace of just sitting out on the deck with the torches burning. Every morning the wife walked to the club, worked out in the health club and was ready to go! Hope to visit again soon. Tom & Jolene Tracey
