We stayed here for over a week during our visit to Glacier National Park. We had a fantastic time. Here were some of our family's favorite things: The taxidermy: Bear, cat, more! Love it. Foosball and air hockey. Kids always had something to do. Three big TVs with satellite, plenty of movies and Wii games. Cool basement - in the summer it can get a bit warm, but the basement was always cool. In fact, my son started in the loft, but given the July heat, he moved down to the basement to sleep. Great backyard. Ample room to build a fire in the pit, do a BBQ on the deck, or watch the rabbit. Desktop computer and Wi-Fi. Only downside is the saloon down the street - but though we thought it might get loud, it was not really a bother at all. Owners were very accommodating and helpful. I love the house - I want to build my own cabin just like that for retirement. Thanks so much!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

This cabin is very roomy. It's perfect for a big group. It says it sleeps 6, but you can definitely sleep more. Between the very large L-shaped couch in the basement, to the loft bedroom, and the bunk beds, you can comfortably sleep 8. To top it off, Joe (the owner) is a really swell guy. He returned the deposit in a super fast, timely manner, and he was very cordial and always answered my emails right away. This place isn't far from Glacier Park, so if you're looking to visit & hike, it's a perfect headquarters. You are close to a grocery store (2 minute drive) and a local tavern(just a block away), so it's worth renting the cabin.Recommended for: Families with young children, adventure seekers, families with teenagers.

We spent one week in this house over the summer and had a great time. It was conveniently located between the entrance to Glacier National Park and Columbia Falls, where there were a number of good restaurants. I recommend it highly--it was a great location for kids, in particular.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

My 3 teenagers and I found the house to be perfect- They loved the bear and mountain goat in the house. The location was very convenient to Glacier NP. Modern kitchen and plenty of sleeping space for much more than our 4 people and internet. It was nice to meet the owner. I highly recommend the house and hope to visit againRecommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
Owner response: Thanks, Come back anytime

We just returned from a week in Glacier National Park (hiking, white water rafting, fishing and horse back riding), the cabin is very clean, within minutes of the West Glacier entrance and easy access to stores in Hungry Horse and Columbia Falls. We only ate out once, as it was quite easy to prepare meals in the cabin. There is a cozy fire pit in the back, that is ideal for roasting marshmallows and the house has plenty of room for entertaining (which we did with friends who were also in the area). The natural lighting in the house and cross ventilation is excellent, for days that you just want to just hang out and do nothing. If you want to meet folks from the area, it is also within walking distance of a couple of local bars. We even saw a black bear down the street munching on berry bushes. We had some friends spend the night and with some extra blankets, from Joe, we could easily accommodate eight people. All in all, this was one of our very favorite trips and the cabin was a significant contributor to it. Thanks Joe!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.
Owner response: Thanks Guy, We hope you and your family had a great time

What better way to experience Montana than in a log home. Very close to park but still an easy drive to explore other areas. The house is well cared for and the basement was a nice area for the kids to play while we relaxed upstairs. No complaints, only praise - I would stay here again.Owner response: Thank You

Our group of 6 adults and 1 infant had an excellent stay at this log home. There was plenty of room for everyone and my little one thoroughly enjoyed the rocking horse! We frequently rent VRBO homes and this one was by far the cleanest. Everything was accurately described and the owners were gracious and immediate in response to refill the propane tank on the grill. This is a great location for exploring Glacier National Park, Hungry Horse Damn, Whitefish as well as other nearby attractions. This was definitely one of our better experiences with VRBO and would highly recommend this home to others.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.
Owner response: Thanks Theresa
