Located on the shores of Sandhill Lake. A quiet lake with good fishing and a nice smaller sandy beach. Comfortable accommodations located right on the lake. Huge sun porch with spectacular lake views. Sit out on the deck or beach and soak up some sun. Watch the glorious sunset over the lake while sitting around the fire pit.
Only 1 hour to the Twin Cities and close to so many family friendly activities including Wild Mountain's Water Park, Alpine Slide, and Go-Karts. Visit the Fawn-Doe-Rosa Deer Park in nearby St. Croix Falls. Go biking, walking, running, snowmobiling, or skiing on the Gandy Dancer trail. Multiple area golf courses would keep you busy every day of the week.
Don't want to make your own meals. There are several area restaurants for all ages and tastes. I can give you several recommendations.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the cabin immensely. It was so peaceful and relaxing, just what we needed after living downtown. The lake was beautiful and the fish would swim right around the dock and up to the beach. The water was so clean and clear, very pretty. We relaxed on the beach, read on the porch, enjoyed hotdogs on the campfire and fished off the dock and pontoon. Our dog loved the clear water where he could chase the fish as they swam up. The neighboring towns are very cute and quaint. We had dinner and shopped in the surrounding towns from Siren to Taylors Falls. The cabin was very nice and more comfortable than we had even expected. The neighbors all around the lake are very quiet and it was extremely peaceful and relaxing. We'd definitely recommend it if you're looking for a place to relax!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+.

My husband and I took our 3 and 5 year old children for a 5 night stay. The cabin is very clean and nice. The 3 season porch is huge and offers a cooler spot to sleep on a hot night. The lake is quiet, most of the time we had it to ourselves. The pan fishing off the dock was great for the kids!! We all had a great time.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Our family stayed for a week with out dog, and had an absolutely wonderful time. It was a great cabin, on a peaceful lake. We could not have asked for more, and we ended the week totaly relaxed.Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
