Privacy, Privacy, Privacy, Perfect location for your private vacation with your family and friends. Spacious 3 bedroom post and beam home, including separate 1 bedroom cottage. It's nestled on 2 private acres of woods and is conveniently located 15 mins. to downtown Asheville.
The drive is lined by tall Hemlocks, Oaks, Poplars, & Rhododendrons, winding past the barn to the house and guest cottage. There's plenty of space for the kids and dogs to play."This rustic home has hardwood floors, plush carpet, and a wraparound deck with hot tub. The master suite has its own private den with lots of windows a cozy fireplace if you need to get away. The master bath has heated floors a jetted tub and a extra large shower with body sprays. The guest room has a comfy King bed. The laundry is conveniently located on the second floor . The third bedroom is a large loft where the kids love the hang out and has a futon, 2 twin beds and a 2 trundle beds. Plus a TV, VCR and DVD player.
The quaint guest cottage has a bedroom with a queen bed, private deck, full bath with luxury tiled shower, kitchenette and living room with TV and DVD player.
The main kitchen is fully equipped with all major appliances and dishwasher. All the conveniences of home. The great room / kitchen / dining area has doors opening to the wraparound deck which is furnished with outdoor tables, chairs, and gas Barbecue grill. Two cable TVs (one in great room; and one in guest cottage are provided along with a VCR, DVD, CD players, and free WiFi. Linens are furnished and laundry detergents. You only need to bring paper products, soap and food. Sit on the back deck in the middle of the woods and enjoy a glass of wine or lay in the hammock and read a good book or take a nap. An excellent getaway for a group of 4 couples looking for a relaxing new year's eve. The house was exactly what we we're looking for. Extremely clean and spacious. It was stocked with everything we needed - including already cut firewood that we were able to use at the awesome outdoor firepit. The kitchen is well stocked for those who like to cook. The master bath shower is state of the art and the hot tub was spacious and already heated up when we got there. There is even a Nintendo Wii for guests to play with. The owner was available by phone to answer any questions we had. The house is secluded but only about 15 minutes from downtown. We ate at Rezaz's in Biltmore Village and it was excellent Mediterranean food. We were unable to find the walking trail listed on the fridge that leads to the Alpacas but nonetheless we found hiking trails behind the house that were enjoyable to walk on. I would definitely stay at this house again and I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a quiet, hassle-free relaxing vacation.Recommended for: Age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We had a wonderful time in this house for a long weekend getaway. Plenty of room for our group, super hot tub, plenty of bedding. The place was so cozy and the kitchen was well stocked with all the tools we needed to cook and bake. We loved the house so much we never even made it out to explore Asheville! We'll definitely stay here again!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

It felt like I was in the wilderness. The cabin was very nice and it had a great bonfire pit! The extra cabin was also great for the people who wanted to go to bed early. Having the corn hole game made it even extra fun! Bonfires and cornhole is all I need!Recommended for: People with disabilities, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

This rental property far exceeded all our expectations. Everywhere we turned there seemed to be another wonderful surprise that enhanced our comfort and ensured that our stay was extremely pleasant. The bathrooms are huge!!!! All the appliances are top of the line. There are plenty of towels and linens and the kitchen was amazingly well stocked. We weren't rushing out to find a store because something was missing in the house. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit and the entertainment systems. I highly recommend this rental. And, the realtors were super nice and helpful. Great, great experience for us all.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

My family stayed here in the summer. The owner was very friendly and helpful in our communications. It was a clean and nicely maintained home. There was plenty of room to spread out for my two older children, my mother and my grandmother. The separate apartment was great for grandma to sleep in and have a quiet place to rest. We enjoyed the "sitting room" with big comfy chairs in the master bedroom. The bed was quite comfortable. The kids enjoyed the loft area. Mom was very comfortable in her bedroom. My kids enjoyed walking down the road to see the horses nearby and we walked a little further with the dogs and enjoyed the beautiful mountain sky views. We had a fire one night and my 90 year old grandma really enjoyed this, it had been a long time since she had sat by a campfire! This was a very nice home.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, pet owners, girls getaway.
