  My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our month-long stay in Avila Beach to celebrate our retirements. This apartment is very well appointed and the location was ideal. We hope to return - we loved our stay!

  My wife and I stayed at condo th weekend of 12/29/12 and had an amazing time. We've stayed down the street at the Avila Lighthouse numerous times and found this place on VRBO. The condo itself is clean, up to date and extremely comfortable. The views are amazing and the wine shop down stairs was fun to visit. All the kitchen supplies you need are available so instead of going out as we usually do, we went to the Avila peer and bought fresh sea food and cooked an amazing dinner. I would highly recommend the property for a couple or a family of four with small children. The beach is right there and Avila is just a wonderful place to ve.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children.

  This was our first stay in Avila Beach and the studio was excellent. The listing and photos were accurate. The location in town near the ocean was nice. We enjoyed the restaurants in SLO, the wineries in Paso Robles, and the Central Coast in general. The studio was clean, the accommodations were nice and owners solved problems quickly. We plan to return next year.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway.

  excellent room tv kitchen ang great location 50 yards from beech 2 negatives the wifi did not work a computer person came over but had no luck fixing it and that was a minor problem also for the price the tv choice of stations was very poor no hbo or show or max or even amc for 40 dollars a month this could be fixed that would have made it 5 stars for me

  Owner response: So sorry to hear you had issues with the internet. We make our contact information available to our guests (in check in docs our guests are sent and in binder in condo) and have helped resolve issues related to internet access in the past however we did not hear from you all weekend! Please make sure in future to contact us if you are having any issues at all...we are happy to assist with an expedient resolution. We do not have HBO or Cinemax...that is true and that's a personal choice. We do however provide access to Netflix.

  This was our first stay in Avila Beach and the studio was perfect. It is located downtown walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The studio is beautifully decorated, well maintained and has great amenities. Everything is as shown and described in the listing photos. It comfortably sleeps 4 and is perfect for bringing the kids. As for Avila Beach, it seems dowtown was re-developed in recent years and is well maintained, the restaurants are kid friendly with great food and service. Make sure to stop by the Custom House and the coffee shop up the street. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back in the fall.

  This nice condo was all I expected it to be! I loved the fact that it was totally detached from all the others and had a great patio to relax on and watch the ocean. I felt like it had total privacy all on it's own. It was a nice short walk to anywhere in Avila and I would recommend any place there to eat at, everywhere was good! Friday night market place is always a fun event there in Avila. I would definately stay there again.

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

  Very quiet and comfortable. We were able to open both doors and let the cool air flow through the condo, while sipping our wine, and looking out at the ocean. Bed was very comfortable. Owner was more than willing to help out when we had a concern. Take the trolley to the lighthouse, excellent views of Avila!

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

  Terrific studio apt. - well-appointed, comfortable, kitchen has everything you need. The patio deck is awesome and looks right at the ocean - 200' away. Great people watching. Convenient, secured, underground parking. Be aware that there are a lot of early morning truck deliveries to the restaurant next door.

  My husband and I had a wonderful time staying at this very well appointed studio. The attention to detail is superb. The studio is immaculate and very comfortable. The proximity to the beach is so convenient. The outdoor deck has a perfect view of the ocean. After exporing the area by day, we looked forward to coming back to the studio to relax! Thank you so much for a lovely stay. This was the perfect retreat spot and little home away from home.

  What a treat to spend a weekend in December at your well appointed condo! We didn't expect to enjoy temperatures in the high 60's. And all of the shops/stores/restaurants were decorated with wreaths, fresh greenery, twinkling lights, etc... It was truly MAGICAL. Your condo was just perfect for our visit. It was super clean. The kitchen was well stocked. While there are lots of great ammenities in your unit, the BEST feature is the deck that overlooks the ocean. We enjoyed coffee in your oversized mugs on the deck in the morning and sipped wine from your wine crystal wine glasses in the evening. We even slept with the windows open so we could enjoy the sounds of the crashing surf. Thanks for a truly relaxing, enjoyable and memorable weekend.... If anyone reading this review is considering a trip to the Central Coast, you will WANT to stay here.
