Beautiful decorator designed home. Open floor plan, perfect for entertaining with deck and private yard accessed from many rooms. Four minute walk to beach with private access. Flat screen TV in family room, office and Master Bedroom and TVs in most other bedrooms. Everything you would need for a perfect Nantucket vacation.
First Floor: Enter into vaulted ceiling living/dinning room with sliders out to deck and yard. Master suite with jacuzzi off of living room. Gourmet kitchen, with granite counter tops, with all high end appliances, such as sub-zero and miele is open to breakfast area and family room. All open to deck as well. Two other bedrooms on first floor share a bath. Also office/den on first floor. Screened in porch off of family room with beautiful wicker furniture.
Second Floor: Two bedrooms share full bath.

We stayed at this wonderful beach house from the 3rd to the 17th. We have rented in Nantucket for many years and this was the best rental ever. The short walk to the beach, bike path and shuttle were convenient for our family and allowed us independent access to may things. We shall definitely be back.Did you find this review helpful? Year Purchased: 1996
About the owner: Professional consultant in the wine industry and real estate broker on Nantucket. We enjoy everything the island has to offer such as the beaches, sailing, the bike paths, clamming, scalloping, fishing, golf etc. We previously had two Old English Sheepdogs who traveled to the island with us every Summer.
Why the Owner Chose Surfside:
The Surfside area is unique in that it is close to town but also the South Shore beaches which have the best surf on the island and the beaches are a short walk from the house. It is also close to the major bike paths and local transportation. We had previously been going to Nantucket for twenty years prior to purchase so we were familiar with all the areas of the island. Nantucket also has the benefits of being an island which you really do not appreciate until you arrive for your vacation.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
We are close to both town and some of the finest beaches on the island. We also have access to local transportation. Having the house walking distance to the beach makes it possible to retrieve things that we might have forgotten or even go home for a short break. We also have an extremely private deck and yard when you choose no to go to the beach. The house is set up for entertaining and has an open flow to the main living spaces.
