A lovely cottage a quick walk away from a beautiful private beach and a short distance from the Cloister Hotel, Sea Island Beachclub, and Spa. Start your day with a cup of coffee on the screened-in porch overlooking the pool. Then, make your way to the beach where you can play in the ocean, participate in numerous amounts of beach games on the spacious beach, build sandcastles, search for shells and shark teeth, or simply relax and soak up the sun in one of the chairs provided at the cottage. When you're ready to rinse off all the sand and salt, make your way back to the house and spend some time playing in the pool. When you tire of spending time at the house, you can take a walk down the sidewalks, ride bikes provided at the cottage, or spend some time at the Beachclub. Finish your day with a delicious meal at one of the many restaurants on St. Simons or cook a delicious meal at home to enjoy on the screened- in porch with accompanying music.
You will love the cottage. It is a picturesque home with winding stairs that lead to a balcony with rocking chairs. Four bedrooms are found on the main floor. On the second floor you will find the kitchen, den, dining room, screened-in porch, and living room with fireplace. The top floor has another bedroom and a big playroom with two additional twin beds, tv, and ping pong table. There are speakers throughout the second floor and on the screened-in porch, so you can enjoy the music as you move from room to room.

We had a wonderful vacation at Sea Island in Cottage 285! The home and surrounding property are beautiful and accomodated our family of 11 perfectly. There was enough space to spread out or be all together. There was plenty of parking too. The pool, ping-pong table and bikes were a big hit especially with the teenagers. The beach access was a quick walk across the street and was lovely at high tide. The owner provided all the information we needed to have a great trip. We took advantage of the grocery shopping service too. The house is only a short, gorgeous drive under Spanish moss-draped oak trees to The Cloister resort.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers.
