A block from, and views of, Barnegat Bay. Two (2) blocks to Ocean (Johnson St. Beach). Across the street from private Marina. Uniquely quiet, as it's tucked in and protected from noise. The cross breeze brings the chorus of waves that lull you to sleep. Perfect for a family of 5 or less (everyone gets their own room). This Bay Head Beach Cottage is within convenient walking distance (3 blocks or less) to all that you need at the beach (Restaurants, Deli/Grocery/ Liquor store, shops, salon and more).
On the second floor, the Master bedroom suite has a bay window (with view of bay), full length mirror, walk-in closet that is connected to a recently renovated full bath. (Bathroom has Skylight, large custom tile shower and a separate full size bath tub. Heated floor for colder months. Stacked washer and dryer). Next door bedroom is full size-perfect for crib to teenager. Built in wooden gate protects top of staircase. First floor has two (2) smaller bedrooms that share a full bathroom with skylight. Open counter/bar lets those in the kitchen be a part of what's going on in the dining room that flows into the family room. All appliances are either brand new or six (6) years young from when we renovated the entire house. Custom woodwork and built ins throughout.
This is the first time we've put our home on the market since renovating it. Multiple windows and sky lights provide bright and airy environment. Very nicely kept (we live in it whenever we can sneak to the Beach.) Perfect for a family with young kids. Front yard is enclosed by a wooden fence; a protected side quad is great for kids to play. About the owner: During the summer we both (wife and I) grew up in this lovely beach town. this house is a real treasure. we spend as much free time there as we can.

Truely a great place to be. You can read in the afternoon sun on front porch, where you can anonomously watch the world walk and bike bye. Sunsets on the Bay across the street. Great porch for cocktails, as noise doesn't carry thru to bedrooms. Close enough to beach that it's easy for breaks either way (on to, or back from.) Sound of ocean at night. Openess to cross breeze thru windows and sky lights . Enjoy the use of our herb garden -
